Like you I would have liked more info about why Vulpes voted against but in fairness I did have some e mail contact with SCLP and decided to vote in favour after consideration.
I was happy to pay 13p in the OO and lucky to get the ones I asked for but not given by buying them on the open market in the last few days.
It was due to RM and reinforced by the Vulpes OO buys at 13p and I am happy with my level of exposure including a few which I may trade defending on SP and news as I do believe the downside is limited with decent upside.
Personally I prefer to spread my investments and consider there are better more near term catalysts elsewhere but still believe that value enhancement here is considerable but may not come quickly.
Fully understand that others have a much bigger position here than me and that is fine. It does not make us right or wrong without the benefit of hindsight.
We all make our own decisions,based on specific circumstances and we hopefully do what is right for ourselves and no one should criticise us for doing that.

I know there averages are 10.6 but I do think 13p is a floor in that RM and Vulpes and many PIs were prepared to pay that amount when they did not need to.They Will of course expect a healthy return.
Any floor can be breached as we have seen but I definitely see 13p as a floor over the coming weeks,months etc

Yep the need for HC trials for Covid will go on as NI trials with a comparator are less risky than placebo ones and of course many competing Vax seeking an edge could need HC to advance the development. We will need all these Vax to protect the world.
Obviously if there was a completely safe and effective Vax it would impact on the need for long term Covid HC trials.However this is not likely for at least 6 months plus there are likely plenty of questions to be answered.
Again vindicates CF reluctance to spend money on buying or setting up a new Covid facility as beyond 2021/22 it is hard to predict the demand.

In a prior presentation CF referred to a Danish/ German Company well I presume this is them.They have some interesting comments on the need fir RSV HC trials in 2021.

Surprised that C7 you found the AGM recording “ dreadful” as yes doing a pre recorded AGM is never as exciting or enthusiastic as many of us now used to Remote Meetings Will testify. I found it OK but appreciate others have a more pessimistic view.
The only negatives for me were the TCR issue which Knowlesi has eloquently highlighted and the delay to the Covidity trial but I was happy enough with LD explanation.

Nice summary and these are only interim results so they will not issue an EUA imo before at least the 164 patients are analysed if that is the figure for the clinical endpoint.
Plus all the other Vax coming on stream are bit suddenly going to stop and will still be needed plus all the 2nd and 3 rd generation stuff so the needs for HC trials will be needed even more as various Vax can be tested vs a possible standard of care.
Plus the whole new focus on Vax and of course let us consider the fact that it is Pfizer along with Bion Tech that is involved.
They rang up Orph at short notice with a new strategic focus on Vax and did the RSV trial and CF talked about them wanting a new HC model so do you imagine they will be pleased or not with their experience so far with Vax.
This mRNA technology is very new so interesting vs other infectious disease is bound to grow considerably and Orph are in a prime position to benefit from this

Plus if you look at CF background he is very knowledgable on how the market works so am sure he knows how to handle all aspects plus he is fully aligned.

Agree the Pfizer-Bion Tech is great news for humanity and SCLP never was “ in competition” with that or any other Vax.Covidity is not my principal interest in being here but if in time it makes a contribution then that will be great.
There are still many challenges for all the Vax and I do believe we could have a huge part to play but this has never been about a race.

Hasiba I do have a lot of confidence about 13p being a lovely floor and springboard.
Not sure if Ibagree about the huge BoD holdings with the notable exception of Vulpes.
Be interesting to see any more Director purchases on the OO.
