Morning,Yep with the new investment they could for instance use £7m to enter into Human Challenge trials for phase 1 as a way to accelerate development.
I am nit saying they will do this as still a huge investment for SCLP but is an option.
If they go down the traditional p1 trial approach think you should have some results within 1-2 months.

I don’t subscribe to the “ golden ticket view” on any share and just prefer to have a much more diversified P/F which I feel gives me much better gains with much less risk.

Yes you can add that as well.Many LTH will take their allocation and more but there is an argument that many of these may consider they have enough at lower levels to not want to take part.
Plus a positive is that Redmile are so happy to pay 13p fir so much so they must be anticipating a much higher SP

If you compare this OO with last time.It is less generous re guaranteed allocation and they are aiming to raise £1m more at 13p vs 5.5p last time and they if course have a lot more money now in the kitty.
That tells me they expect it to be fully subscribed so would think many folk will,apply for excess shares in fact a lot more than they “ need” but feel they will be scaled back.

I really do think today’s news is very good on a whole host of fronts.
However as was said at the last placing the future here will be clearly defined by the major SH so Redmile,Vulpes and to a lesser extent the BoD.
However I do think the BoD will be very happy with the current situation and therefore aligned to the future.
The likes of Redmile will have an exit plan and a US listing is an obvious opportunity fir them to monetise their investment.
Really not sure what certain folk expect and anyone who is prepared to buy 25% of the Company will want control of the future and that is largely what they have.
That is the price we all pay for any major SH taking control and personally I am very happy with that but SCLP is not like the one of 5 years ago when RG said it was great to have so many PIs as stakeholders at the AGM

TF. When CH said “ advanced discussions” you would normally mean the “ Heads of Agreement” and certainly the basic mechanics of the deal would be largely agreed so I don’t see it as a deal could not be done.
It may be once CRUK said they may not be able to progress SCIB 2 then it was clear a wider raise was needed and hence SCLP deciding just to just push on all fronts itself.
This is great news today but fundamentally does not change anything in that it is the trial results that will determine future here but Redmile support does show immense validation and confidence in SCLP approach.

This would have been planned for a very long time and doubt Redmile would simply stump up a lot more cash simply fill a gap from elsewhere.
Very likely any deal will be backloaded anyway and this just gives SCLP a better bargaining position.
Anyway sure we will find out more when results/OO prospectus comes out

Ray- agree they can come from anywhere but SCLP will be a very attractive option for any Nottingham based candidates who want to stay in area especially if they have been part of Lindy’s Uni team.
I would imagine,though Burble will know better it is quite a “ small world” where most will know of or can easily find out about any particular candidates suitability.
I am sure the recruitment will prove very successful and it is great that SCLP is offering these positions
