The Hat they were acquired by Seqirus last year and still manu flu Vax.When I was at Sanofi and Merck all Vax was imported.
They have already said new capacity will have to built to scale up Covid 19 hence appointing Oxford Biomedica and Cobra as they don’t want to divert effort away from currently produced Vax but I think there are only 2 main sites in U.K.

As you probably know scaling up Vax is a complicated and time consuming business

You can see from the link I posted earlier hVIVO and by default ORPH are involved in the Future Vax Research Manu Hub project which is 2018-21 so is a wider brief than Covid 19.

The main lead for Covid 19 Vax in UK is Prof Sarah Gilbert.

I would not expect ORPH to be directly involved in the Vax Manu task forces set up by govt as they do not possess or capable of mass producing Vax.They have always said their expertise is in researching , developing and testing of Virus Vax and the commercial part of scaling up is not their bag and up to any potent8al commercial partner.
Anyone familiar with Pharma knows the U.K. simply does not possess large Vax Manu facilities on scale of Sanofi Port des Alpes in Lyon.

A heartfelt post and many will just appreciate many of your comments and the great contribution you and your colleagues are making.We will be forever in your debt.
As you say now is not the time for recrimination but fir sorting any issues out.
I agree that the chance of mistakes and lack of preparedness would likely be the same whoever was in charge so any politicking should imo be put to one side until the appropriate time.
Once again thanks for your efforts and have always found the view from those most directly effected is usually the most informed and balanced.

Many of the rises in other pharma may or may not be subject to red flags and some of them are linked to Covid 19 and/ or have had a big seller and we know what happened here when City Financial sold down.
But you do have 2 choices either proactively embrace the ups and downs of sentiment and treat the trend as your friend or passively do nothing.
Each to their own and if being passive meant just waiting and relaxed knowing that at some point a deal will come through or the science will be truly valued at a much higher level than fine.
In my experience the passive approach does not usually pay on AIM unless your are very lucky or very clever.
I am neither so I go for the more proactive approach.

Without some kind of update I guess sentiment for SCLP is low at the moment but sentiment for bio pharma on AIM is pretty high though possibly today showing a slight slowing down.
My point is there is/ was a “ window of opportunity “ and if you need to raise why would you not try and do it when that sector sentiment is strong rather than wait a month or two when it may be markedly different.
If you dont take the opportunity whilst it is there then the risk is you are forced to raise at the worst possible time.
But as they have not updated us I am not sure of exact cash position just guessing like all of us.
I am not arguing about anything else apart from the need for an update which Inam sure would clarify the SCLP position.
Due to the lockdown etc I am sure that CH etc has the time to do this and normally in this type of situation you would want to communicate firstly to your employees which they could well have done and then to SH.

Find LSE so frustrating sometime.
We know they need money at some point soon.I think you were expecting Q2 a few weeks ago if my memory serves me right.
The likelihood is to raise money in the next few months which to say the least the sentiment could be pretty dire if OBR forecasts are anything like true.So why not try now when sentiment is strong.I do not mean likes of MTFB where the crazy price action was based on pure trading with no news but more like at AVCT which did a recent raise at 18p and just hit 70 today.
In terms of update we’ll just saying Bion Tech collaboration is still in play/ more info on MAB work/ an update on Modi manu and Combo trial/SCIB 2 and general SCLP response to Covid 19 if at all.
I am not looking for false promises just some news which surely is not too much to ask.
A few director buys which surely they can support at these levels along which Martin Diggle who know should be happy to buy at these levels.
Likes of Calculus and others but without knowing what is going on many will assume the worst.
What I don’t want is to here nothing then a heavily discounted raise at a time sentiment is poor and the excuse is we need the money to carry on but it is difficult due to Covid 19 and seek to blame lack of progress on all fronts due to that.
Basically I have not a clue what is going on and not sure anyone else has

My guess would be in checking the trades at that time and way continued to rise it is a buy but happy for any other interpretation.

Everything might change tomorrow but there is so much hot money chasing pharma at the moment if you were looking to raise money and we know they need it sometime soon this imo is the time to do it.
I do not mean put out spurious news to inflate the SP and then discount then discount down.
I mean use the current liquidity to do a solid raise and if the outlook is as good as we think then it should show a good rise.
Anyway plenty of money to be made ATM with large risers everywhere

Really need some sort of update.At a time when virtually every other pharma on AIM is absolutely flying this one does not move. Not complaining as there are so many opportunities but I just find it surprising that no news whatsoever.
ATB but this is such a good time to raise the SP I would hate for them to get the timing wrong whilst pharma sentiment is so high

Again bought in very recently and looks a wise decision.
If you do miss out on a very big rise elsewhere often a very sensible move to go for an “ affiliated/ correlated “ outfit.
Plus of course there is a lot if other potential here which I am just getting a better grip on.
Drive past Alderley Park and the Manchester sites on a regular basis but only virtually these days lol

At one point we would be millionaires on the other one with the last 2 day rises but is never as easy as we think.
