I was merely trying to say there are Company's involved in fight vs Covid that have taken entirely different decisions ie Ncyt selling their tests commercially and Gilead donating all anti virals.
As for SCLP I am not worried about which approach they go as it will be largely be determined by who and what the partner may want to do as it is them who will be enduring biggest cost in scaling up.
If SCLP simply made their cost back the gain in terms of exposure and validation of the platform will be huge.If they also make a lot of money then even better but much more about finding a Vax than who makes money imo

Think it was more about any Company being involved in the fight vs Covid 19 doing things and acting as a commercial rather than charity entity.

What is good is that we can voice our concerns without falling out.
If there is one thing the lockdown should tell us is to be tolerant of others and that we should not expect others to feel the way that we do or equally we expect others to understand that we may feel different.
It all depends on our personality,our financial situation ,the level of our investment( again that has to be set against our own position) and family situation and many more factors.
I hope none of us are here simply for false hope as the risks imo are still not in our favour but any positive news should be welcomed.

You make a fantastic contribution to this board and hate to see the argument in here when we are all in the same boat.
I am not in any other group and do believe all of the folk will share stuff at the appropriate time.If it is public then fine but if it is said in confidence then really believe you have to respect that.
None of it can be inside as we are not trading.That would be a different matter and would only generate endless speculation on half a story.
Just good imo that there should be some more news in the public domain in a couple of days that we can all analyse,reach our own cnclusions and then debate.
Moaning if the issues here have been brought about by debating only half the story and because FRR have not told us anything we have had a vacuum of news hence endless up and down emotions as we only generally see one side of the story.

In bio pharma when you don’t have actual Approval then anything is not a slam dunk however “ external validation” by nit just one but two pharma Companys who will have done a lot of DD is about as god as you are going to get in terms of confidence moving forward.

Thanks for posts and I am happy to wait.If we were still trading I would be a lot more concerned about a nod and a wink but nine of us can do anything and like others I have written this off due to wanting to move on.
However do appreciate others on the emotional roller coaster want to know more detail but I suspect nothing is clear cut and like we have seen on many occasions anything posted positive or negative is debated and dissected and not conclusions reached as nothing is concrete.
I can’t see why Puddy would change his stance without some new “ info/ insight” and I am happy to accept this as a positive as he has been here for years and I think we all know the good abd bad guys.

Yep if I recall there was a period of a few days when Hope was off the board and the asset could have been transferred but sure it probably contravened the terms of the court supervision.
Having said that possession is 90% so not sure how easy it will be to get it back.
West Ham yes I looked through B20s posts and saw the link with BP and again why would the GG allow a “ goodwill OOCS” and accept asset transfer unless it benefited them and involved a party like BP.
We may well be seeing a playing out of a facade for various audiences whilst the real deal is behind closed doors- we don’t know.
But we do know the court case is a sideshow and the arbitration has finished.
In public it remains very bleak for FRR but in private we still have to wait

The proposed SCLP approach is different even though it produces a dual immune response and if it works more likely to create a longer and more potent immunity better able to cope with viral mutations and possibly up inducing a memory response imo

Chester I suspect it is all about the funding.Would imagine so far it is mainly about doing the proof of concept work/ assembling the team etc.Until they get some funding commitment from somewhere then I would imagine the progress will be limited what they can do in house.Sure that with immediate funding they can produce enough Vax to start P1 trials in late 2020 but that is why this funding is so crucial t9 both validate the aporia has but just to really push in with the project.

A nice summary.
We know that although a lot of stuff that comes out of Georgia like past references to the 49/51 or 50/50 split of a Company often gets lost in translation and most of us saw it as a very positive step in the setting up of a new enterprise to develop the whole of the block.We know that is not the case but as we have found out most of the stuff has a big element of truth simply we don’t know the full picture or interpret it to suit our case.
Your musings do make a lot of sense and in a very complicated situation with complex and often conflicting parties it is hard to fathom the truth.
This whole process has needed “ goodwill” from FRR and the GG to transfer any part of the asset to take it out of influence of court whether allowed or not.
So most of the ups and downs here are caused by us nit knowing the full picture and clear lack of SH communication so we are left up to our own interpretation which is often wrong.
I can’t see the GG reneging on a clear commitment to FRR as that would incur the wrath of the US but equally I can understand the need to “crow” about the arbitration result for a domestic political audience.
As always time will reveal all.

As please inform me but is the Roche test not the PCR one.
Is it not Abbott who have an AB test.
I am going off memory so can’t be 100% sure but is important to get ownership of these tests as correct as possible or at least qualify if not sure

That is what I thought is it nit the Mologic ELISA based serology test which would be analysed in a lab rather than the Consortium rapid poc antibody that does does not require a lab.
Happy for someone to inform me otherwise
