Yep does seem like we are entering a new phase and I do need to catch up with events here a bit.Very interested to see what Monday brings re Hercules and Iclaprim as what happens to the main asset is important.

Yep have been here for years as big fan of TB and familiar with pharma space.
Have had some contact with Prof David Goodall CSO of Aptamer Group and you can tell by all the tweets / Linked in messages how much rapid progress they are making towards improving the specificity of their diagnostic test and the recruitment of new staff all points to a good future.
Plus all the other BRH Companys like the hand sanitiser from Pharm2farm ramping up production in May abd also Kirkstall doing work with others in a potential test.
But is Paraytec that is key driver in near future but that hand sanitiser effort could bring in up to £1.2-1.5m a month revenue.

Have checked previous holdings of major SH in Jan and DC Thompson have same number of shares as May 5th update.

See they are recruiting a research scientist and also some talk about using Aptamers to neutralise the virus so do you think that is where the mention of therapeutics comes in.

Polymerase chain reaction or PCR is the process to detect the presence of an antigen hence the Antigen test.

So an Antibody test tells you whether you have had the virus( measures IgGand IgM) and the antigen test tells you whether you have the virus.

It is an Antigen test so a PCR rapid point of care. It is NOT an Antiboddy test just Aptamers are used rather than Anitbodies to develop the test reagents

Hope you are safe and well.
Absolutely right about the differences between Arpida trial and the recent phase 3.
When I first bought in on listing it was clear the lengths in terms of different trial protocol that were gone to to try and avoid the Arpida experience.
If you ever read the FDA ScComm minutes you’re would soon see why the Arpida claims were dismissed.
As you say the NI criteria vs Vancomycin were readily established and that was for ABSSSI and we know that Iclaprim activity vs HABP/VABP is actually better than skin due to it concentrates in the lung tissue.
We all know the FDA response and I go back to no one predicted in advance that result despite several claiming they had that foresight.
Given the Covid 19 situation and the fact that several other bio pharma dealing with AMR like Melinta have had financial issues I do wonder if the environment for Iclaprim is better now but I do recognise that the CRL issues have not been resolved. Dont think we have ever send a copy of full statement.

Well if the PSA ownership of Block 12 reverts back to Georgia then won’t Hope have to then pursue the asset in Georgian courts a very lengthy and unpredictable process.

Have come back in here after being largely out since St Valentines day massacre.
Looks like RTO being worked on but is everyone focusing on LaMellar as MGB Biopharma Limited seem a more obvious candidate to me or perhaps a combination of the two.A new Scottish powerhouse.

Appreciate that some feelings may be running high over what is shared or not shared but Inthink most of us appreciate all the efforts of everyone in uncovering bits of info and interpretation.
The analysis and debate but is the most difficult without indecently verified accurate info and insight and this is only likely via legal documents.
So please Mr Mole I for one would appreciate anything you uncover.

Not sure I understand the response.
I don’t understand the science well enough to decide whether the approach may work or not I merely raised the issue for discussion so I could learn more.
I would consider any possible approach that may work vs Covid 19 would be worth exploring.It is imo not a question of which approach will work best as we simply don’t know.
I fully understand SCLP concentrating it’s efforts on a Vax but we have signed 3 collaborations and it may be one of those was interested in going down the MAb route if it potentially worked

If the SCLP approach won’t work then fine.
