Of course we don’t know how long the salary cut will last and they can of course reinstate the full salary at any stage but let us give them the benefit of the doubt and we can all judge in the fullness of time any further actions
I suspect as always it is about the SP at any particular point if time.
Low SP means most folk unhappy and critical of the BoD.
High SP most are not bothered about what BoD pay them selves

Overall am happy with RNS as it does show a willingness of the BoD to make some sacrifice.Yes we know they will be more than adequately compensated by the new options but again that is to do with SP.
It sets a floor and yes if it doubles or whatever then they gain a lot but so do all of us and is only for a year and of course if it drops below the option price which it has been for a lot of last year or so they don’t gain anything.
It also helps encourage them even more to seek non di,ituve funding.
I also think it is a nice act aimed at a response to Vulpes selling the recent 2m.
I do agree we should have another update on progress or otherwise on all the other platforms bit it is much better imo that this is done separately.
Of course if they fail to update the market on the wider happenings in a reasonable course of time and I do feel they are overdue then much of the good intention of today may be undone.

You need the normal primary course which consists of 2 injections and then boosted annually vs Leukaemia but every 3 Vs Calicivirus.
It is the Leukaemia component that is similar the Oxford one apart from uses a Canarypox vector rather than Chimpanzee.
It does not need an adjuvant but does generate a really good immune response but no memory.
As for which Covid 19 Vax will prove best in humans we will have to wait and see but the important thing is to get something effective as quick as possible.
Many will fall by wayside and many approaches will be used and I do see real value in the SCLP approach and the merit in being developed into a 2nd generation Vax.
Whether the outstanding melanoma results can be repeated in a Covid 19 Vax and whether the Oxford or other approaches work we simply have to wait and see.
However as always external validation in the form of an actual deal will be the game changer.

Sure I can’t add anything to the debate but one of our technical experts highlighted the fact that the Cat Vaccine I posted on the other day uses the same recombinant technology as the proposed Oxford Covid 19 Vaccine just uses a different viral vector.
Although a different vector is used I can confirm the approach is highly effective in stimulating both a CMR and humoral response but it does require further boosters as does not induce any memory.
