The changes to t's &c's are to do with arrivals in mail centres and then delivery offices.
I haven't seen it mentioned about same day delivery, but later arrivals into our network to connect the following day.
RMG actually mean parcels, which is fine. Letters mean nothing. The arrival of letters make absolutely no difference to RMG's way of thinking. They have to pretend they care about the public, but i work in delivery, and the failure is shocking.
To support their green intentions, letters will arrive later, as will these LAT's that i've mentioned.
They are trying to force the later start times through, to satisfy OFCOM and the public, that your mail will be delivered the following day. Not in my office.
So it doesn't matter when your unmeasured mail gets delivered. The items that "matter" will get delivered by the localised hubs. But in the process, you'll have 100,000 posties on strike.
Pointless.
