Scan In Scan Out (SISO) is meant to be implemented by the end of October. Along with the tabletop revisions. The revisions will definitely not be happening in such a short space of time.
What i meant by RM losing £175 Million, wasn't meant that that money has now gone, and can no longer be used. But, instead of losing it, use it for a pay rise. Another 9 days. Another £225 Million lost. Another 5.5%, without strings.
Not including crimbo traffic.

I'm with DerekR on the pay rises. I cannot remember any % mentioned, unless the CWU thought it was acceptable.

Thompson has responded to this CWU update. In short, he said that the hostilities between the CWU and RMG, and the difference in what they want, is so far apart that a resolution isn't to be expected. He says that ACAS is the best way forward. So, he has no intention of changing his stance. IMO.
And regarding the pay rises linked to changes. Sooner or later, this will happen. How far these strikes go, is anybody's guess. But even the most ardent supporter of Thompson surely cannot accept the CWU to accept a XX% rise if the end result is that we will end up worse off?
And later start and finish times? It wasn't that long ago that RM were trying to get stay at home parents to come in and do deliveries when the kids were at school. Now thousands of staff won't be finishing early enough to pick their kids up. If RM had their way.

I mentioned yesterday that after Thursday, strikes will have cost the business £175 million. Enough to fund a 4.5% pay rise, with no strings.

I'll tell you what is difficult to understand. If you are correct, i would suggest that driving the price down for VESA, could be construed as slightly illegal. And you are all for it. You even agree it's to the detriment of the shareholders.

If we stay on track about pay increases. I have been told by 2 managers that have recently left the job that the line manager to COM pay rises went from:
38K-43K on implementation of their new role this year.
43K-46K next year, guaranteed. I don't know if there will be any other pay increase.
46K-49K the following year.

DOM's stayed on 46K until 2024, when their salary increased to 49K.

Factor in bonuses for attending work, 1K-1.5K. Which i now believe are an advance for meeting targets next year. Which are not going to happen. And then the vouchers for non ops managers working on Saturday. Bless them. Maybe they can buy themselves some expensive chocolate to ease the trauma.

So, that 2% HH is talking about looks pretty sh*t.

I accepted that the £25 million figure would have been a rough all-in cost. To include agency staff and hire vans too.
I think that Thompson gave this figure out. If he did, and i cannot be bothered checking, then very soon he will start to look very stupid.
I wasn't even bothered too much about the 2%. More the give aways to all and sundry for not meeting targets.

(About £42 million, not £12 million.) per 1%.

As per my 19.00 post, a 5.5% pay rise would cost IDS £230 million in annual people costs. (About £42 million, not £12 million.)

There have been 6 days of IA so far, each costing £25 million to the company. (Not my figures). This equates to £150 million so far. I have 9 further days booked in for IA, so let's assume the whole operation will fall under the same. That's another £225 million lost. My abacus tells me that that is £375 million of lost revenue in strike action.

If each 1% pay raise costs £42 million (ish) as per the 10th August RNS that could equate to a 9% pay rise.

I would add that it is now getting to the busiest part of the year, so that £25 million figure will be short.

Don't bother. Taken from 10th August RNS. So about £12 million per year.

All he/she does is attempt to goad posters here to satisfy his/her own needs. This is shareholders and non, alike.
A new board brings different discussions. I have tried to engage with the above, who is clearly being evasive.

I accept that there are one or two posters who have issues with each other, but the majority is name calling. And yes, i accept that i may have been involved at some time.
