Trading statement 14th October. 2 of your most recent posts (26th and 27th October) reference the 17th November. Please go back and read what you have posted. I'm agreeing with you.
Thompson will be gone because he has failed to do what he should be doing. Looking after the company and his shareholders. Unless of course you think that the total decimation of the share price in return for a 40p per share dividend, and totally alienating the workforce, including managers, is doing his job.

It was a trading statement. Half year results on the 17th. You have actually posted this day as possibly problematic. It was only a week or so ago. So i'm just following and agreeing with you.
Thompson is in place to deal with the current issues. Alienating everyone in the final mile is not a good look. Filling the place with casuals prior to IA, and even during IA, clearly doesn't work. Bye bye Thompson. You have 3 weeks.
But the good thing is, he still has time to post on workplace. I've been told that he is currently gloating about the withdrawal of IA. I can't comment on that, but it would certainly not surprise me.

Roll on the 12th and the 14th.
I wonder if these days will be challenged. In fact, i wonder if all the days lost to IA could have been challenged.
More importantly, roll on the 17th. Figures have to be bad, and shortly afterwards it'll be bye bye Thompson. Take your money and F.O.

I'm glad that IA hasn't been called off, as i thought that would happen when ACAS got involved.
It's going to be painful. But if these extra dates go ahead, leading up to results, Thompson won't be in a job shortly after. IMO, of course.

5.5%
2% backdated to September.
3.5% conditional on accepting new changes to times, Sunday working and productivity. Again, backdated to September.
Plus, anyone who didn't receive the "attendance bonus" will get a grand, regardless of whether or not they were off. Payable in November.
It's being put to ballot and Unite/CMA have recommended acceptance.

Thompson can now say that he doesn't offer his managers anything different to posties.

Redundancies? Haven't seen any yet. Apart from management. And then re-hiring. I've actually been approached.

I didn't think the size of your holding mattered.
I didn't have one trade for 12 grand, i had one buy order @ 110p (i think). It never got triggered. I also sold shares, 6,000 plus, that i had accumulated for over 2 quid a share, prior to this. Hence my 12K buy order.
At least you acknowledge that i have made money. After all, that is what all this is about.

I notice that once again you have posted one of my many failings in the stock market. ACP is still live the last time i looked. Does this make you feel better? Post as much about me as you want too. I must be doing something right if i can take 5 figure hits and not worry about it.
