@ Maximas1.
New starters? Already being employed. And their contracts stipulate what they do.
Owner /drivers? Already being advertised. Gig economy rules!!!! How this helps RM when any given "employee" can just not turn up for work, is beyond me.
New hours/shifts? Hasn't happened yet. And until it does, it's all speculation. I know that this is a particular grievance with the current employees. Can you elaborate how this will be beneficial to RM and their shareholders? And how it would change the current daily failures and provide a decent service to the recipients?
Little extra money? Actually, RM want a pay cut for blue collar workers. This is not acceptable in anyone's book, only yours. Compare that to the COM's guaranteed status-based pay increase for the next two years, plus the bonuses accrued. And not forgetting that there will an actual pay rise.
Allowances gone? See above. Can you tell me what allowances i will be losing? And how it affects me monetarily.
Nobody will leave, unless it's voluntarily. Nobody will be pushed out, unless they fall foul of RM's rules and regulations.
I will still have a job. But it will be on my terms and conditions.
And one other thing. RM may have us posties by the short and curlies at the moment. What happens when good will goes out of the window? Have you or any of the other shareholders thought of that? Coming in early? Nah! Taking a meal break? Yes please! Overtime? Nah!
RM will be employing more staff!
Oh, hang on, they already are. But at least they can get rid if the agency staff!
And as for your hero D..K? I now welcome his take-over, should it happen. He may get rid of some of the dead wood in white collars.
Roll on the 17th.
Lemmings at the ready!
Shareholders in a line!
Dil sauce!
Canoes at the ready!
Don't forget your oars!
BAIL OUT, BAIL OUT!!!!!
QUACK, QUACK, QUACK!!!!!
