As for the next cash injection: I'm not "inside" so I don't actually know.
Best guess? Upfront cash for 401 or a placing. It's one or the other.

Am I concerned which one? Well even to the thickest person out there, i'd prefer cash upfront. But if not , so what?

I accept the placings for what they are. VAL need to raise cash to further 101,201,301 if there is no other cash.

So bring on the next placing.

Yes, they're not legally binding, but why sign if 401 doesn't stack up? To stop other companies getting hold of a compound that doesn't work?

I've invested my money in a very high risk biopharmaceutical company.
The very words "very high risk" tells me everything I need to know. So the current price does not bother me. Is it fair value? No idea.
So no, I don't wonder why the price is 1/2p. Why would I?
I accept my investment as it is. When I get disillusioned with it, I'll sell.

Nobody knows what VAL asked for in these placings, only what shares were issued and cash received.

I would assume that anyone taking part would generally have very favourable terms.
I would also assume that this happens "quite a lot" with tiny companies with no money.
