Sorry to point out the obvious, but the best time to top up is before a positive RNS. You could have bought these at c. 59p yesterday. Think about the psychology behind the reason you didn’t and you might figure out how to trade more profitably.
These are going up so buy any dips.

Hi seadoc.
Stop losses not recommended for volatile shares. Will get triggered and then the SP moves the opposite direction leaving the investor out for no reason.

Indexes like IG and MMs in micro cap shares know this and regularly ‘game’ the system, clearing out stop losses to get cheaper shares.

Choose a price and stick to it - so a limit order to sell or buy can work in these same equities.

Until a meaningful RNS about revenue/profits, the SP has to rely on the voting machine that is buyers vs sellers.
The RNS will reset the fundamentals and shift the price accordingly.
However these BBs are full of spivs just trying to day trade like Gordon Ghekko and their herd-opinion will control the SP until then.
I’m holding as I am in for free and think this should go higher.

I think this sector has even bigger potential than, say, netflix. However, they have massive, ever-increasing revenues so can 'borrow' on that potential. the 2019 accounts show they lost nearly $4b. That's due to their particular mix (content costs $, and so does client acquisition and client retention).
BIDS has nowhere near that sort of growth cost, so it should be a matter of completing the 'land grab' (of signing up games and advertising agencies) and then start printing money.
But that did not happen in the timescales we were all persuaded to part with our cash on, so now there is less trust in what they are saying - hence why I repeat that this is now about 'revenues' - any would be nice.
until then, this is not netflix, it isn't even 'love films'. It is more like delorean.
we just need to see some actual real orders from customers paying cash for our advertising in games.
re netflix - I predict a comeback in their share price over the next year or two. I'm not sure that as many people will sign up, as their SP premium demands. If they don't hit the numbers, the debt will unwind them. and hitting those subscribers numbers has a few obstacles -growing competition - (Disney+/BBC+ITV/Apple et al), ever increasing client acquisition and retention costs and spiralling content costs - plus billions now looking at their outgoings and thinking 'maybe I can't pay that £5.99.

I feel your use of netflix as a comparison is interesting; i became aware of netflix in 2005 after a chat with an IT mate about 'loveflims' and my disappointment in their service (never have the DVDs I wanted, or massive waiting lists). He mentioned netflix was doing it 'online'. However, my internet connection would not handle downloads of that size, so I avoided netflix.
The 'traction' you speak of with netflix, is all about the speeds obtainable at the enduser's location - as that improved, so did the number of people willing to sign up to netflix.
But the comparison is unwise for another reason - netflix, according to their latest accounts (31DEC19) are still loss-making. They have never made a cent in those 22 years. The reason they still exist is because they are generating revenue.
It's all back to my favourite sound-bite - "show me the money". This is the key for BIDS. Until then, any comparison with netflix is unwise.
But at least the GFIN deal seems to be one in the right direction. I can see marketing directors authorising advertising through BIDS onto the new e-leagues and e-F1 games GFIN has announced.
I find myself being a bit more optimistic - but not enough to buy some shares yet; we just need the funding issue killed off (either way).

So you mind me asking you what the other four dogs are in your portfolio?
I’ve lost 100% in a few over the last few years; Concha, (to that con-artist David Brown), Graphene Nanochem, and Lonmin.
I’m not fairing very well at GFIN either, after buying in the last placing at 4.5p. But I actually live in hope with those, because of recently announced deals, including the BIDS on. GFIN can’t seem to figure out how to make any money from their relatively straightforward business model (they are, in essence, an events management company). I am hoping the BIDS deal means both companies will generate revenues from GFIN’s customers.

There has been plenty of debate on this point recently. I certainly won't 'assume' BIDS will get some. But part of me is hoping they do. And part of me feels it would be wrong for them to receive any.
But I'm not the first person to feel conflicted in such matters of integrity, and this is not the first time I've felt it.

However, lets say that they get it; that means no dilution but it does mean a big chunk of debt to pay off. If the revenues balloon, that debt won't matter, and it might be the way for BIDS to go, where future funding is concerned; but banks hate lending to start ups with no profits, so, without the government backing, I think BIDS will still have to raise further funds from placings.

But lets, for the sake of argument, say they get £5m from the government fund ("CBILS")- that would not be possible without the directors signing up to personal guarantees - and that will be the key issue here.
if the BOD are completely confident that the loans will be repaid, they won't mind signing personal guarantees. If they have the slighted doubt, they won't sign the guarantees.
So, there 2 hurdles:
1. Can BIDS meet the criteria of CBILS and;
2. Will the BOD of BIDS have the confidence to sign the necessary personal loans (without them, CBILS will only lend £250,000 max - which will last about the time it takes for the ink to dry on the contracts).

As I'm in the game of predictions, I predict they won't go for CBILS but will go for a placing instead. Wait to hear more 'podcasts' and other smoke and mirrors trying to get the SP up. I'm a weak buy until then.

If I am wrong, the next announcement will be an RNS stating that they have secured funds from CBILS. That would be a massive green flag in my book and I would immediately be a 'strong buy'.

And there is the outside chance of them issuing an RNS saying 'revenues of £XXXX now confirmed'.

Dramper use of the word 'immediately' is key. 'Immediately'. as we all know means 'now, right this minute'. So, on the day that dRamper told us that, he would not be lying if there was some money in the bank. More importantly, he would not be mis-directing the market if there was enough money, for, say, anything over a month or so. But any less than that and he would be.
Because it is another smoke and mirrors wording, we are left guessing when money will run out.
I stand by my first calculation of June................ until he 'shows me the money', that is.

How can I be lying if I don't know the answer, either way. To lie requires the liar to know the truth. I don't claim to know the truth in the NOMAD issue or the JW revenue thing. All I do know is their close correlation; hence my comments.
But claiming to 'upgrade' to another NOMAD is exactly what any BODs would do if told they are being ditched. My point is; we will never know.
So, ironically, it is actually you who must be lying; because you must know the truth to lie, and I don't see how you can know the truth - unless you are on the BOD or work for the outgoing NOMAD.
As for the new broker comments on revs - I recall something about no material revenues in H1 2020 and fundraising likely to be needed.
So what does that say about the £10m contract that JD pulled out of the bag the day after he informed the market there were no revenues? Why is the new NOMAD saying there will be no revenues in H1 2020, if we have a lovely £10m contract signed in December 2019.
I won't assume we are all intelligent enough for me not to spell it out:
It is all 'sleight of hand'. Draper is the issue here. Not the NOMADs, TW, me or anyone else.

I think your comment regarding 'cost to shareholders' and why would JD shaft himself is a tad naive. Put simply, any founder would rather have, say, 1.7% of an ongoing concern than 17% of one that's run out of money and is insolvent. In the final analysis, JD will have to be diluted to save the company if he cannot prove revenues, along with all shareholders.

That's not just my opinion; that how capital markets work. Once revenues are coming in, funds are cheaper to raise. Without the ability to show these revs, we will be diluted much more.
I know you don't like to hear this but it is how it all works.

I'm truly sorry if my presentation of my arguments come across as 'knowing it all'. That's never my intention. Instead, my intention is and will always be to counter any point which I think is incorrect, for the sake of balance.
If you don't mind, I will expand on some of my post history here. So far, I've called correctly:

1. the apparent lack of advertising on the new GRID2 (or was it DIRT2) adverts a couple of days after its launch.
2. the red flag warning of the founders selling shares and the real negative effect on the SP this would have
3. the cash burn-thru rate of c. £500k pcm,

I've also informed those who care to listen the fact that I was lied to at the AGM about the 2018 incomes.
(all the above is in my history to see).

The rest of my posts that made predictions are yet to put to the test. But who would bet against me right now?
I'm currently saying bids is a 'weak buy' but the reality is likely that anyone buying right now will get them cheaper as the funding gets closer. it is this opinion that is holding everyone back at even these low levels. I do actually believe that the SP will be substantially higher once funding is sorted. So, actually, if you have the spare cash and don't mind being diluted, you can buy now and probably still make money down the line. But we won't know what the dilution will be, hence why I can only muster the strength to go for 'weak buy' as opposed to anything more bullish.

But if Dramper can "show me the money", all bets will be off.

So, again, apologies if I come across as knowing it all (which obs I don't), but I reckon my post history has at least earned me the right to be heard, without the constant barrage of abuse and flood of ramping posts, all directed to 'silence' me or cover up my opinions.
May I therefore suggest something: If you don't agree with me, simply filter me. But I'll wager you won't do that because you won't then know when to put up the flack-attack posts against me. Or, heaven forbid, you might actually miss something that will save or make you money.

If I recall correctly, is BIDS not on its 2nd NOMAD since the reverse takeover?
I am open to standing corrected but I believe there was a swap last year.
NOMADs are rarely pushed but usually leave because of irregularities at the client (BIDS in this case) and tell the BOD they are going, so the BOD has time to find a replacement. Of course the BOD can say any reason to the market for the change (as the NOMAD cannot comment due to breach of confidence but also no one will hire a NOMAD known for ‘spilling the beans’), but the reality is that a NOMAD leaving is rarely a good for the company it represented.
I also recall there was a senior sales manager leave within days of arriving back in the summer of last year; and shortly afterwards, the stories of no revenue were being aired by this TW person (never bothered to look into him as not my thing).
coincidence, or something to do with a chat between the two of them (TW and the briefly-employed sales guy)?
Not that it matters now, as it’s all history and, again this could be coincidence, but we all now know it turned out there was no revenue.
Anyone who ignores or posts against that fact can and should be ignored, as they are clearly either deluded or paid posters by BIDS.
