Finally I think this share is on the runway just waiting for take off clearance just hoping we don't get Sent back to terminal.

I am think there will be an RNS tomorrow on drill rif for V1 I and hopefully one on Friday for the LP but that may be too optimistic. But this is start of big news period and with the issue of these shares over three years means MB sees this as a climber and start gun is effectively June 1 2023.

Remember a number have been on half pay for a long time now or was that just MB.

This is a fairly long story and IMO partly exacerbated by us on this board because we were getting absolutely no information from MB. The rise for Spud of the Raptors (like everything else here) is much dependent on SPC or LP on Heron. We here on this board have been waiting at least six months for something that was meant to arrive "Very Shortly" or any moment now. Since then the share has see sawed. There are a number of people on here who do not believe it will come at all or if it does it will be couched in such away that it is next to useless. Why they are invested in this share (if they are at all) is beyond me. Then there are a number who are either firm believers it is coming or think that the upside significantly outweighs the downside and in the middle there are a number of firm believers who are starting to have doubts.

The last RNS (IMO) was never meant to have been made. This was forced on MB because we had not had any news into speculating what the new Petro Matd Energy was all about which he was not ready to divulge just yet. So we got a nothing RNS. No news on the LP other than the news he was hoping not to have to tell us ie the LP has been transferred to a new department and going through all the processes again and a wishy washy nothing statement on the new company. The rise of this share will come with announcement of details of Spudding of Velociraptor. Now if that coincides with the LP then this will fly if it comes before the LP this share will go up possibly get to 8p and then it will depend on what we find. If however the LP comes before or after Spud but before results we could in reasonable time reach 25p. So Quite frankly this is turning into a typical AIM gamble share which is not what it was meant to be. Get the LP shortly and you hit the bottom of a very big ladder. Hit a duster with Raptor and no LP by then and you will be at the top of a very long snake.

WOS Prime Minister to day this was news 2 years ago so why say it was today it was not. Please it maybe relevant but lets at least get the day right.

Don't forget folks that Monday is a bank holiday i believe over here but will be all hands on deck in Mongolia or rather i hope just one hand on an LP notice will do me.

Yes normally you would need an income stream, a business plan budget and some security to secure the asset and maybe that is why the PM of Mongolia, the Ambassador of Mongolia to Uk and MPRAM were all in that meeting to give the full support of Mongolian govt for the loan. I would guess that things become slightly different when the govt is one of the parties to the deal.

I agree with you there is a whole lot missing from this because there is also the new company which we believe is a JV between MG and PM. The name is the same except with a slightly enigmatic Energy after the name. We could probably do a whole of digging and probably find little and force MBs hand to issue another RNS that he does not want to and say even less than he did in the last one. Never before have i seen an RNS give so little information with so many words. Maybe slight exageration but you get my drift.

The questions that need answering.

1) Why the financier in the room

2) Why all three parties in the room at same time

3) Why the need to document / publicise the meeting with an official photograph.

4) Why now

Something big brewing (possibly not oil) we have 100% on two fields (one with oil the other with enormous potential if discovered. So why give away 50% and why the new company.

Sunstreppe are involved with us re Renewables.

My guess and it is purely a guess this is another renewable that needs a lot capital investment and my thinking is Wind power. renewables

To a certain degree this fall in the share price is our fault. That RNS told us absolutely nothing from what we already knew even down to the raptor drill and equipment. The JV part was wishy washy at best because there is nothing yet. And the LP would being passed to MMHI would never have been relayed if we had not pushed on meeting in IoM. If that had not happened we would be waiting for RNS to announce LP when that would finally happen. So now for the next x days or x weeks or whatever it might be we sit and wait. The traders have now got open license to trade this share more than ever knowing it is likely to be very voluble but they will be aware that the LP could come any minute. But i am sure they are well aware of that. I would but FOMO keeps from making that move. It is a question whether you want just a little bit of butter every so often or wait and get the jam and cream the whole enchalada at the end. I am waiting for the whole enchalada at the end.

I agree totally and that is why it is a get in and get out share with the near future. This is not one i would hold in my long term portfolio, although it might look very good. The reality is the Geo political situation throughout that part of the world makes in vulnerable but not at the moment. Russia will not attempt anything whilst it has its hands full coping with Ukraine and the west and China has Petro China working away probably with a bit of help from back handers. Anyway at the moment there is not much to take over unless you potential. If this becomes another Saudi then i am out of here with a nice profit as soon as i get a reasonable figure and i reckon that could be very quick if Raptor comes through and obviously the LP. GLA

My opinion is the new JV assuming that is what it is with the Government is for something completely new. After we are an oil company we have our own oil and we have 100% of Raptor should it come in so why give half away. We appear to be going into an agreement with a partner for Renewables so this is very possibly a branch of that ie a renewable that the other partner does not specialize in. It has been set up now probably because all the main players were in England already or because there is now an urgency to get this done. Otherwise why involve a financier at this stage if it is a little way down the line. I think there is something brewing on this front that might be quite big and might be in near future and by that i mean before summer is out. Also i think it is new after we have the oil and this needs to be kept separate from everything just in case one of the big boys wants to come in and buy this out right if we come up trumps with the Raptor that is. We have heard about Sun and the solar panels so that would be a separate deal this is different maybe something to do with gas maybe something to do with another renewable. Or maybe they just fancied having a meeting at our expense.

Certainly very interesting but what is a Regular Urgent Meetings. How many times a year do they call a regular meeting that is urgent. Either it is an urgent meeting or it is a regular meeting surely it cannot be both. What could happen is that something urgently gets added to the areas that need to be discussed. Either way it should be interesting.

My problem is that i can see this department burying this as it is a subject the would know little about. We constructing or modernising anything we are just drilling for a bit of oil. This rather out of their remit imo. With the ministry for mining i could understand it possibly but this department makes no sense might just as well give it to the Ministry for Silly Walks for all those of a certain age.

So that was short lived optimism absolutely not mention of being handed this batton of oil exploitation. So why the urgency of the meeting i wonder.

Just had a thought seeing that the Mongolian Ambassador to UK knows who we are that instead of bombarding the UK Ambassador to Mongolia all the time. Maybe someone should email or write to the Mongolian Ambassador to UK maybe someone on here who can speak or write the language explaining that all this shunting of this LP from one ministry to another could seriously damage any possibility that Mongolia has of opening itself up to foreign business. If anyone should understand how important for Mongolia to look as straight forward to doing business in that country it should be him. And he knows us according to MB this morning.

Nothing else is working atm so this might be worth a try.

To say i am disappointed by this mornings news would be a polite way of putting it. I was hoping that at this time today i would found our SP to have doubled instead it is down 20% but showing signs of a recovery over what is left of the afternoon.

Is there a need to panic. I do not think so, the LP has been delayed not cancelled or re-assigned. It has been given to the Ministry of heavy mining. Nobody takes on a perceived poisoned chalice voluntarily but would only take it on if they felt their department and defacto they themselves were about to become very important in the future of Mongolian economics. After all if a large number of foreign countries are showing interest in the mineral and oil assets that Mongolia may have then they want to be a part of it. Could the license be granted else where (ie China) the answer is yes anything is possible. Is it likely the answer is no.

1) Having gone through the whole process then take over the license and give it to China would be so obvious a bribe it would stick out a mile and send all the wrong messages around Europe about doing business in Mongolia.

2) Minister for Heavy mining has not taken this on to save MPRAM of the pressure and the kindness of his heart. Although i am sure he might be a compassionate man this is essentially a ;political move for the top spot in time and having control of all the mineral resources is a large ticket to hold.

Personally i would sit and hold no point in crystallizing the loss (if there is still one) based on this just yet. The set of RNS should be good news until we reach TD then anything could happen and to a certain will depend on whether we have the LP by then.

Finally meeting in IoM was a good chance to meet the Ambassador of Mongolia to Britain. Sorry MB this just does not wash. Why on earth are we worried about meeting the Mongolian Ambassador to the Court of St. James. More likely the new Ambassador of Britain to Mongolia would be more useful. IMO. MB forced into saying something has actually said everything without actually saying anything. Petro Matad Energy is going to be big in the near future otherwise why rush it through, why meet in IoM why fly in CEO PM (other than gives a free trip home to family) Why fly in PM Co sec or whatever her titile might be plus the PM and Minister for Oil etc etc just to have a few photos taken. And have one of the senior financiers on the island attend as well.

Selling now would be madness as the upside still well out weighs the downside by a considerable margin. But for now this share will remain a traders share and will do so until LP lands and this should soar.

I really see this move of Solongo as positive for us.

Either Solongo has been a naughty boy in speaking out of line and he is being sent to the corner of Dornod Province as penance.

Or: He is being sent there to weed out the corruption that is obviously there and to get in line with Government thinking and plans.

OR He is being sent there not just to weed out the corruption etc as mentioned above but that Dornod province is about to become the next hot ticket in oil and other energies. As an experienced Foreign secretary he would be used to having to deal with foreign governments and companies and his role would be to move this province in line and keep all the players in line including PC . Especially if Dornod becomes the next big oil area of the world especially if Raptor and other areas needing exploring come up trumps.

This could be massive but also it might just be a bad boy being sent to the corner. Somehow i doubt and favour the last option. GLA

When i worked as an accountant i used to love JV's especially where it was one where we provided the services as it was an extremely good way to cross charge over (legitimately) some of our over heads. That way increasing our bottom line. At the moment makes little difference but might come extremely important for us down the line.

This board seems to have gone completely mad to day.

We have what looks like a new JV with the government and people think this is defrauding the shareholders. Obviously people here think MB other than being uncommunicative is also a crook and an idiot.

Firstly if you are planning to defraud your own shareholders you would not do it by opening a company with exactly the same name except with energy stuck after and secondly you would not do to a full publicity style photo. You would use a completely different, set the thing up through a third party over the internet pay the £100 or £250 if you want to do it in a couple of hours and it would extremely unlikely that anyone would find out.

JV is going dilute the shareholders i do understand why it should. It should be there to provide an avenue for a completly different business and alternative source of activity and at the moment i think that is exactly what the company needs is alternative lines of work oportunities and to have with the blessing of the Mongolian government cam only be good news.

Does this dilute our share imo no it does not if anything strengthens our share. It will be a seperate business of which if a JV PM will hold whatever the % is agreed for this JV. that is PM hold the shares effectively us. IF the shares are held by MB personally then it would be a different ball game and probably breach of his fiduciary duties as a director but there has been no mention of that and as i say doing with same name and a open photo would be completely stupid.

I take your ;point and well made. But i do not think it directly relates to our oil situation unless to do with the new areas up or tender. Why would we want to give a way our 100% rights that we paid for i believe.
