RE: why is this up today?16 Apr 2015 16:10
Only my opinion but the share price dropped sharply when the company announced a few days ago that it only has until end of this month to close the deal and if not, it will have to repay the Chinese 3m, money it does not have. There is therefore, a risk of insolvency. People are now buying the share in the hope that the deal does go through, the company is saved and the share price rockets. The Chinese might not force the company into administration if there is no deal of course, but it is a risk. It all hangs on the Kaz Government granting approval for the deal. The Government had a good relationship with the previous CEO, I have no idea what they think of the new guys and the change in management could be part of the problem. This is purely speculation but I can't think of any other reason at the moment.
