Reflex I agree. I don't particularly care if it takes a year as long as the results are good. Sadly though a lot of PIs seem to take fright if news is slightly late and flee, dropping the SP in the process. It is a long laborious process bringing a new drug to market and rightly slow. Still plenty of potential for snags along the way but exciting prospect for those with patience.

Well Tiger looks like you were right. Two �92k trades at 18.45p this morning at a time when the ask was 18.25p. Showing as a sell now but think that is because LSE is using the spread at the time it reports the trade rather than the time the trade happened to classify as buy or sell.

Very good article in IC this week on the 7 deadly sins to avoid when investing. Good a place as any to start.

My advice would be to only invest in FTSE 250 and FTSE 100 stocks while you learn and don't read chat rooms like this! Rarely will you learn anything and unless you can independently verify what people say, you can't trust a word of it. When i started i was na�ve enough to get sucked in by pump and dump crews. Now i only come here to test ideas by throwing out my views and seeing what the challenge is. I only make investment decisions based on my own research. Tough learning, please don't make the same mistake. Economic data, main stream news and company announcements are the only sources you should use. I would also subscribe to investors chronicle. It has a lot of useful stuff and how to invest and covers a broad range of markets.

Investors spooked by talks of slowing production ramp up but have missed the point that RBW never said they were going to produce 5,000 tonnes this year, only that they would get to a run rate of 5,000 tonnes a year by December. A target that the company maintains it can still meet. That is not to say that current production is not important - the more they can sell now means less dilution from fund raisings for further exploration and mining expansion.

The Japan reserve is thought to contain Y, Eu, Tb and Dy. To date RBW is thought to be 80% Nd and Pr so there doesn't seem to be much of a direct threat.

Don't forget the classification of buy or sell here is just based on the price vs the spread. It could have been a buy if the trader was able to get a better price from their broker because of the size of the deal. That large trade aside, the number of buyers outweighed the number of sellers and so it is reasonable that the price went up. 1 large sell does not mean demand has dropped off.

A short close is a buy not a sell. Short sellers borrow shares, sell them then buy at a lower price to return to owner. A short squeeze occurs when demand for shares increases as short sellers try to buy which temporarily lifts the share price. So unless incorrectly classified, the sell cannot be a short close.

I agree, not a near term threat but with twitchy investors around it doesn't take much for the share price to wobble.

I agree. Terrifying that people invest in a company when they can't even read the statements properly. Not limited to private investors. Spoke to a bank analyst who follows the company I work for and he doesn't factor in our overseas business which is 50% of revenue. Mind boggles.

Hi Teasybee, I don't think production to date is market sensitive information because the company has only stated that it is aiming to achieve production of just over 400 tonnes a month by the end of the year. They have also not yet provided any useful financial information and so current production isn't that useful. Therefore, the info only becomes market sensitive if they are going to miss their year end run rate forecast.
