RE: record high finish!10 Mar 2018 01:20
No one knows. The price is likely rising because of speculation in advance of drill results. I expect a plateau, followed by a dip before a reaction to the drill results. I think they will be good and so am holding. I am prepared to lose all if they are below expectation because that is the nature of the game. On the flip side, I will enjoy the rewards if forthcoming and could be spectacular.
In regard to comments that a DCF is not currently possible, I disagree. As I have previously posted, RBW has released enough info to determine cost of production, SG&A and sales price etc, so a rough DCF is possible on a scenario basis. However, I do agree that it is all meaningless until a Jorc is determined so we know what we are aiming at.
The offstage arrangement, while a bit onerous at 70% does have many advantages. We don't pay shipping costs, we don't carry credit risk and we don't have to find a buyer. For a company of this size the benefits outweigh the costs and so I can see why they took the plunge. If the resource is a large as hoped then 10k tonnes a year on this deal is a good grounding with any additional sales having a material upside to cash generation.
