Great to see strong buys before the close. Similar buy action as the last drill campaign progressed and presaged great (if under appreciated) results. Hopefully we will see a similar pattern in the build up to he June drill results.

Not missing you Jiddy. Took a risk and bought back in at a lower price and now up after today's rise.

USD has strengthened against ZAR in H2 which will provide support to EPS for the full year. Vertical integration benefits to be realised from H2 onwards. Yes a shocking H1 but the share was so cheap, all the warning has done is normalised it. Going forwards i see growth.

What a shame. Got out at breakeven having been up considerably. Might come back but as profit warnings come in 3s, will hold off for now.

There were a series of insider sells last year, mainly in country managers / technical staff. Don't think it added up to �1.6m, more like �500k. If you look through the RNS history you can see them.

2,250 in year to June was in the Q1 report. In the latest, Q2, report all that is mentioned is a target of 5,000 tonnes run rate by year end. So obviously the weather / power problems they have been having mean that the initial half year production target won't be met.

I agree. While it may not be a solid lump of RE, it is fantastic news that this second area is now almost certainly criss crossed with veins. It could easily, and drilling anomalies often does, come up empty. Mine lifespan extended, economic potential has increased. Still 4 more anomalies to explore. Amazing really.

What are people's thoughts on very light Gasagwe details. Sounds to me like they came up empty which wouldn't be unusual given the very narrow veins.

On reflection, as the lopolith has turned out to be a network of veins rather than a solid lump, that the drilling intersected any of these is great news. To get a 50% strike rate suggests that the network of veins is actually very dense. It would have been easy to strike out on all holes, potentially missing a vein by mm and ending up with nothing.

Actually, I think that was the lopolith result.

It reads to me that inclement weather, the same that has slowed the production ramp up, has also delayed the drilling campaign. Nothing to worry about yet but I am but surprised at the lack of detail in today's results. Positives: more RE likely to have been discovered and of a thickness that makes mechanical extraction possible = more production but at lower grades. Still have to watch for lopolith results which I assume is the 300m target he mentions.

Hmm. Not sure what to make of that. I was expecting the lopoloith to have been drilled. Results so far sound OK but a bit light on detail. What do others think?
