Let's turn this on it's head. Minor and Othode, what analysis have you done on the latest and previous results and what conclusions have you come to?

What is with the aggression Minor? All Gent has done is express an opinion different to yours. Stop being a snowflake and learn a bit of resilience. People will have opinions that differ from yours, doesn't make them muppets.

No one is saying that RBW is dead in the water. There is just a concern that more cash will be required to get the production rates up to a level where a profit can be made.

Even if the cash raised in the last placing hasn't been spent yet, it will need to be as it was required to get the mine up and running. It was all allocated on drilling, fleet etc. Once this is spent account will be empty. Therefore, as still not generating enough to cover production costs I can't see how a placing can be avoided. Maybe if a substantial ramp up of production and more importantly sales in q3 this can be avoided.

Only $2.7m in the bank at end of Dec. Loss of $460k from Jan to Mar. $59k this Q. Then there is $0.75m ear marked for exploration, assume all spent by end of July. Another $.75m was earmarked for fleet but I am assuming some of this this was spent in Dec which explains the year end cash balance of $2.7m when $3.5m was raised in that month. $1m earmarked for mining equipment which has probably been spent by now. So somewhere between 0 and $1m in the bank depending on what has been spent and when on fleet, drilling and mining equipment. However, as still not generating cash, to continue to expand the mine and for further drilling a placing looks to be needed.

$59k loss isn't terrible (350 tonnes sold, costs spread over 275 tonnes exported). However, still not generating cash and I very much doubt that drilling costs are included in cost of production. Therefore, placing almost inevitable.

I agree Tiger. Glad I haven't bought back in yet as suspect the drop is because a placing is on the way.

Very unusual for a company entering phase 3 trials to have such a low market cap. I continue to hold but can't help but feel that I am missing something that everyone else can see. Is it lack of faith in management who have performed poorly and pay themselves too much? That the CEO is on over 200k a year to run a company of 14 employees with no revenue to speak of is mind blowing. Especially as he is unable to meet a deadline that he himself has set. Or have I overestimated the potential of the company? Something is obviously amiss because I have seen other single (ignoring CSD etc for now) drug companies have a market cap into the hundreds of millions by the time they get to phase 3.

Tiger and Teasy, indeed not bothered by the current SP as i have exited but only because i had a hunch this drop would occur. I k
now have the opportunity to buy back at a price lower than my previous average. I agree with a lot of what you say Tiger but holding me back is the company assertion that it will keep drilling for a Jorc. As you say, this may no longer be the best approach. I know i will miss a spike if the next report shows that the company is now cash generative so i might just invest my profit back in. However, until i get more clarity on the financial position and future strategy, i can't be as bullish as i was before. If the company is sitting on a large resource the SP has a long way to go and it won't happen overnight so plenty of opportunities to buy in at a good price with lower risk in the future.

Company marketed as an easy win and the last drill results suggest that this is no longer the case. I expect another placing soon because defining a JORC resource when facing narrow veins will require and expensive drill programme and detailed modelling. Even if RBW is now CF positive, it will require more than it can generare in the short term to achieve this. Therefore, decline not unexpected.

Feel like this is very overdone now. Sp valued for collapse and yet seeing strong growth and low default rates.

Good article but seeing as it was written in 2011, I would say that things have moved on a bit.

I sold out at 18.62 because the results mean the share has become a longer term investment than I can cope with in a country like Burundi. Also, high risk of another placing. Will watch and see as I think it is well run and has just been a bit unfortunate. I may regret selling of the coming quarterly update is positive and indicates no placing needed.

Also, look at the size of the trades - most are tiny.

Sentiment rather than performance are driving the SP at the moment. The company has positive earnings and cash momentum and in the end, the fundamentals will shine through.

Yes i am aware of those words but hardly a result. No info on grades or thickness.the holes could have been 0% for all we know.
