Don’t want to throw cold water on the enthusiasm but actual PCR tests carried out are around 350k per day at the moment (387k yesterday, a recent high). Capacity is 700k+ but a lot is unused. Also NCYT tests are mostly pillar 1, capacity for which is more like 200k a day with about 50-60% usage. NCYT might be reaching the numbers you suggest but it’s more likely to be worldwide sales than just UK.

They really did deserve it - in all honesty that gap in the score should have been a lot bigger so I’d take comfort in that at least K!

I thought the same Donno is this maybe the sensitivity of the new variant assay? I vaguely remember noting that it was lower s&s than primerdesigns other covid assays..still very good though I believe and obviously good enough for approval

VanV isn’t this just continuing the open platform approach as with other assays, so great if you want to use Q machines but not a prerequisite? I believe this strategy has been working well so far...the razor/blade analogy but the blades work in lots of razors?

I think the accounting treatment you point out Chalker, and as I said last night, the fact that the year end was changed twice, second time just two weeks before audited accounts were due for release would be red flags...technically within the rules but doesn’t look good, the company would have its reasons for doing this and shareholders may ultimately be grateful for it but they would have known the change would immediately get them suspended and it gains them more time to put out an audited set of results...FCA won’t look too well on it and of course there is the added nuisance of TW kicking up a fuss. They would have to at least look to see if his theories have any merit.

Totally this. If I were considering investing and came here for some info I would run a mile, 98% of the board is ramping/deramping, pure speculation, ill informed statements of ‘fact’ (which mostly isn’t) and foul abuse being thrown around. It’s quite entertaining in a way but not much help in giving useful insight to the stock.

Personally I’d really like to know what the newly appointed ‘chief corporate development officer’ is up to - it’s not a standard role to have full time and reaffirms the company’s commitment to its further organic growth and M&A strategy. Will we have an update on the latter soon perhaps?

Can anyone advise please? The Trellus shares were awarded in December, I assume that there is no link between them and EKF shares now, so if I were to sell EKF I would still own the Trellus shares and be able to trade them post IPO? This is logical to me but wondered if anyone can confirm?
