Looks like once FCA satisfied they will resist immediately. Could be at any time but there will be an rns from LSE preceding it and also the company will usually issue an rns saying the same. Hopefully it will be more than just a one liner regarding restoration, ideally it will have SH confirmation.

Great that they've given us an update at last. Lets hope that AZ is using the time to get SH sorted and come back with a bang, could turn out to be a gift.

They can’t transfer the listing without shareholder approval, so the shares won’t be cancelled from Uk trading (without you being able to vote/sell)

it’s quite a long wait for year end results though, due to covid, year end accounts won’t need to be published until June, instead of April...

And they did break the (main list) rules, that’s why they got suspended?

It’s not that unusual however, and it is within the rules!

When they changed the year end to September it enabled them to release the ABAL numbers to 31 March as interims. Fine. And the next reporting deadline became 31 Jan 2021 for y/e Sept 2020. Ten days prior to that deadline they changed the year end back to September so that the y/e Dec 2019 (again, all ABAL) had to be released immediately, also the June unaudited interims, (just 3m worth of SYME activity) became due. The changes mean the co is providing the least possible visibility of the company’s financial situation. It really doesn’t look great and the FCA may well be looking more closely because of it. Ps. plc accountants don’t make ‘mistakes’ like this.

Yes but the difference is between stocks being stopped from trading on certain broker platforms (as referred to in link posted to fca) and suspended from trading by FCA

Annual accounts would not be rns’d before auditors had signed them off. Same accounts would be sent to companies house. No one ‘checks’ them routinely, that is the responsibility of the auditors. Similarly there would be no routine check by FCA of unaudited interims, reliance is placed on the BOD and advisers that they are a true and fair representation. As previously stated, there is no link between filing at companies house and suspension by FCA

Hank I don’t see how it would be efficient to eliminate pillar 1 as this is essential in hospital/clinical testing, (NPT) as I understand it. That would surely be the ‘last test standing’ if we get a proper handle on the virus and no more need for mass testing but still similar checks as for MRSA required before surgery etc?

The company is registered in Italy. So it won’t file accounts at companies house. The two rns’s (publication) of the accounts rectified the rule breaches.

Do you mean that they sought it immediately, doesn’t mean it necessarily happens immediately?
