The facts I’ve stated shouldn’t affect the SP because trading is suspended. I’m questioning why it remains suspended and why the company isn’t telling us why. If it comes back it means everything is fine with regard to FCA so SP should be fine, hopefully they come back with great news and it will fly. If they come back with more delays/need for cash then sp will obviously drop but that won’t be because of my posts about the mechanics and rules of the stock exchange. If I wanted to deramp I would have posted while shares were trading.

Here we go...any negative view must mean someone isn’t invested, it’s the bb equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears and going LALALA. Believe the facts I’ve stated or don’t but I really don’t have time or reason to post on boards I have no investment in.

Did you also read the para at the top of that screenshot, where it says the fca may restore trading even without a request to do so? (Actually meaning, if there is nothing to create a disorderly market, they will ensure shares stay traded)

Honestly the stuff being posted on here as fact by people who clearly have no clue is just breathtaking. I’ve come here as a concerned investor hoping that someone with some insight as to what might be going on can reassure me but all I’m seeing is straw clutching.

I’m not speculating on why the situation is as it is but what I do know for sure is;

- the required accounts have been rns’d and the status at companies house is irrelevant in respect of the suspension

- suspensions do not happen at the wishes of a company they are entirely in the hands of the fca. Think it through, if any company could just be suspended half the market would be suspended at any one time because directors would prefer to withhold bad news before finding some good news to add (for example)

- suspensions are put in place to avoid a disorderly market. We know that this is no longer being created by the absence of financial statements so there must be another reason.

- fca is not going to put out a statement that they are investigating, they investigate lots of companies and find no problem to make this public before reaching a bad conclusion would cause a disorderly market. That doesn’t mean they are or they aren’t looking at SYME, just that they wouldn’t be telling us.

- the silence from the company is deafening and concerning.

Sorry Valencia but I disagree. The ‘requests’ are formalities - the decision is entirely the FCA’s.

Companies can’t just decide to be/remain suspended

Co House filing being reflected on the system won’t delay restoration, they have met the rules by publishing the accounts - we need to know why the suspension is continuing.

FCA indicating that they were ‘looking into’ the company or is this just TW saying so?

Why though? There has to be a very good reason for suspension, it’s not something that happens because CEO fancies it.

They don’t appear to tolerate any questioning of how incredible SYME will be, no matter how reasonable the basis for the questions, anyone who sticks their head above the parapet to try and assess risk/query any possible negatives gets accused of not being invested/being TW acolyte and if they don’t sit down, they get booted. So more and more of an echo chamber, which isn’t very useful when you are trying to better understand an existing or prospective investment.

But maybe you are right neilrich, about it being idle/half used sometimes. In the absence of an update from the do it will be an interesting figure to watch I think.

I agree there may be more peaks and troughs in actual tests undertaken in Pillar 1 but the capacity is supposed to be stated according to equipment and staff availability so I’d assume the hours available would come into that calculation. I’d question the scale up to capacity of 190k (ish) if they didn’t think the demand for processing was there and I’d also expect it to be maxed out given the recent level of hospital admissions?

Agree Karen, it’s concerning that since the ramp up in Pillar 1 testing from the end of October, actual testing has remained consistently at around 50% of this, to me that would be explained by the issues ProMate would solve so will be watching the daily utilisation figures closely, they will hopefully improve from now.

The more the press coverage etc is discussed here the more glaring the omissions from the TU appear to me, it was so light on detail, I understand that forecasting 2021 is difficult but there was no follow up on LAMP testing, not much info on ‘ambitious’ M&A strategy, antibody LFT, variant testing, care homes. Surely an operational update is due soon?

Actually, thinking more about it, I don’t know if you would use promate for Winterplex as it would be less likely to be used for numerous tests at once on q16/32 and more likely to be put through a GoPro as an individual test? I’m guessing - but still don’t thinks we that there might be a clinical need for a promate equivalent for Winterplex
