The share price of BP has fallen, but the attacks on Iran continue and the Strait of Hormuz remains pretty much blocked. There is no obvious end to either.

I expect the upward rise of the share price to continue, bar some unexpected diplomatic breakthrough.

Except, of course, that it very much did! By developing and enriching uranium, whilst at the same time calling for the destruction of Israel, what else could the Israeli leadership do?

If you do not get that, what would you do as leader of a country where a regional neighnour was developing the ultimate weapons and threatening to use them on you?

At 23:32 BST, it is around $106.462 per barrel.

Seems way too cheap given that there is no solution to the Iran crisis, and Trump has said that nations needing jet fuel ought to go through the Strait of Hormuz at their own risk!

I just heard President Trump say that he expected the US operation to continue for another two or three weeks. He also said that the US would not re-open the Strait of Hormuz. If he is correct, then Iran will likely control shipping in the Strait, so expect crude oil prices to stay elevated indefinitely. Willnthe neighbouring Gulf States have to pay protection money? Or go to wat with Iran?

With modern targeting, missiles are programmed to hit within one square metre. The attack on the school was clearly due to poor or outdated intelligence. It did not help that the perpetrators denied any such attack until the proof was overwhelming.

How would you explain Israeli attacks on ambulances and journalists in Lebanon, then?

Trump is a very confused man. On the one hand he says that the USA military is the best in the world and the best it has ever been, due to him. Fine, so why does he need help from the UK, whose aircraft carriers he considers mere toys compared to the US Navy?

Yes, Jakers, hence why I have been selling piecemeal all the way up to lock in my profits! I managed to sell another 1,000 shares at 603.5p today as I was still asleep!! My next target is 612.51p which does not seem far off.

I expect BP to fall back to 500p or lower eventually, when normality returns.

How much more juice is there to squeeze out of this? Is 650p possible???
