.. Gore st.. I wanted a reasonable holding but got a small ammount due scaking down, buying now 119 5.2% dive.. less fund charges probably 1.5% not really that good. Is stamp duty 1% applicable as well if buy gore st?

According to them for a while nickle stock going lower and lower, and price going down.
Why?

hi coffee...im cautious of smaller cos with no divi now after being in amc (russsia nickle exploration! )40 billion recource cap 20 million.
Was going to only buy likes of glaxo lgen voda etc... but this one seems different.!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dividends change everything for me, transformational. There will be many like me.
So no one has any feeling for divi policy/% going forward yet?

Thank you r.. is this a true dividend and ongoing or still return of capital. As I want a straightforward income share I wont buy till all the return of capital finished and its a straightforward income share. At present fundementals here shows aviva as 8pc ongoing dividend

I couldnt buy recently as didnt understand the capital gain/tax implications.
Going forward if shares bought now is the yield really 8pc as shown here in fundamentals.

There doesnt seem an advantage to dividend seekers if glaxo price rises from here as dive is per share unless you sell and invest elsewhere or am I wrong.

lets say you have £10,000 glaxo presently.. about 600 shares
at 80p div thats £480 a year ........... roughly

How much divi would be expected after split... roughly..and guessing the missing bits of info... just a ballpark figure.

what is the dividend going forward after this over.... if u bought £1000 now what is divi over next 12 months, will they be able to .. probably.. increase divi going forward.

grayling .... scottish motgage with tesla amazon and medical pays a dividend, however has been racing down and forecast to go further down.. how does polar compare? They seem to hold similar stocks. I like dividends, with a decent co can just hold and hold.
