if u bought at 12 are u calculating 3.6% on 12 ? its now 15 so if u sold thats the ££ u get to put into say vod 10pc. If merger comes off mA even get cap gain. (That said no way id add vod now... or glaxo !) Things are going to happen very fast now with new ai, will these beasts keep up.

If I cant cofirm the dividend is capital return, I will pay tax on the dividend... yet this is on a lossmaking share . then even on eventoal sale the capital loss will have been taken away by virtue of dividend......wow.. payng tax on a loss !!!!!

say aveage is 12p
if dividend is a true dividend you will pay tax on this .. even though you have lost not gained.
It could be a dividend deemed as capital return, which acually it is.

polymetal came in at 8p. the price went to 15, then consistent decline to recent 1.4.
What unravelled at 15 16p
Polymetal will have had good reason to buy in and a huge company like that will have good advice.

yes Im invested, like the fact polymetal is in, not a lot £s though as its a small aim ompany. (For apositive, its the small aim companies that can sometimes make huge share price jumps.)

The huge company poly bought in at way higher price couple years ago.. since then prce has trended down and down from 16 to 1.4. Not many shares 10 bag which this will have to just to get back to previous levels.

Poly bought in 2020/21 I think, was it 15 p or so then?
Since then price has steadily dropped to 1.4p, now 1.75
When the bottom reached and it turns round what are you expecting, why. I guess poly must be confident to have backed them.
