1. Auditors who can't manage staff holidays should be sacked, if true ; and it is the CFO's job to manage audits to ensure they have info they need in a timely fashion, and to schedule the audit to ensure compliance with deadlines. poor failure of governance which would see CFO sacked in most companies. In bigger companies, they would have to go even if blameless, to send a message that the co was serious about standards.

2.poster says he has been "assured by Shishir" that this will be rectified imminently, or some such wording. Really??

Any such assurances should be communicated to all s/holders by RNS, not private comms. Another glaring governance failure.

3. Let's hope "assurances" are true, and that there are no substantive issues, but given the co structure, evolutionary position, geographical location, etc, s/holders have every right to be nervous....yet another reason why 1 and 2 above are so important.

For clarity, i do not currently hold so personally feel I have dodged a bullet here. ; in large part bcos i have been nervous over governance for some time. For the sake of holders, i hope this is a storm in a teacup, but it is not one to be forgotten.

Suggest to me that this is looking a v attractive share at this price. Debt free, good cashflow, 12.4% divi. Mine lives of 10 and 15 years mean there is no rush for another deal unless its attractive, Director buying in Apr/May suggests confidence.

Only downsides are jurisdictional and commodity price risks, a given in the sector but not to be ignored. Whilst we mushrooms never know what may be going on in the background, negative chatter and talk of placings seems misplaced to me.

And if the raise is to buy a new asset it is not dilutive, and will have the objective of being accretive. That;'s the whole point of the deal.

dilution only occurs when funds are raised to progress existing assets, working cap, etc.

My poiny re the RNS was response to DTW, who said the co had "moved swiftly to dispel the rumour." whem they have only part;y done so.

As for investor bias, your "i take it all your holdings are in stocks about which you couldn't care less - either way." exhibits that in spasdes. You must never view facts, (or rumours, for that matter)thru an emotional lens.

Thank you for providing an excellent example of what I am warning about. But shake the habit, cos it makes for poor decisions.

DTW says the compamy moved to dispel the rumour. But the RNS merely says "no fundraising is imminent." It does not deny that one was in the works, nor does it prclude one in the near future.

If they could have said those things, why didn't they? Anyway, make up your own minds. just make sure my aforementioned ownership bias isn't screwing your logic circuits.

i'm no fan of tw but this hokey cokey of raise/no raise is not only a mess, but has to tell any serious investor that cash will be needed soon for something. at best, this means sp drift until cash is raised thru whatever avenue, and the fact a raise was in the works tells you the bod aren't confident that licence deals will come soon in sufficient quantity.

smell the coffee, gentlemen, and don't let ownership bias screw your critical faculties.

With an 8.6% yield, possible divi increase, and a good track record of investments this should be a steal at current SP.

If only they would stick to their knitting and grow organically, as OCI, and not constantly batter the SP back down with raises, year after year.

Most of the rents are capped, dunn if it's summarised anywgere, (Annual Report?) but every new deal I've seen them do over the last 5+ years has had a cap, 4% ish prolly the average.

A great quarter. Net debt down to $25m, news rich Q2 to come. Cash important, but NET cash/debt tells you a lot more.

More to the point, we are today closing inon a prospective 9.5% yield, which seems very attractive to me. i suppose the fear is that the Bod get impatient and do another raise, rather than growing organically, which is what has undermined the SP in the past.

But even so, it's looking a bargain to me.
