These guys have 0.75m shoppers. Expanded into UK and withdrew by selling to DD.

They seem to hemorrhage cash, and are driving down costs by expensive automation ( mentioned on a call).

Lead by some ex senior aldi guy now.

The idea is you determine the value at the time of the expropriation. Best guess 2021. Then after time of damage calc you get interest say uk government rate + x %

Now there might be other types of calls where for example you consider the value of an operating mine but I am not sure.

In situations I am not sure I am Conservative.

I made quite a bit by holding my long term holding in spreadbet. When news came out I added, and as volume dried up I sold.

So I keep the long term holding, trade short term and add this to the long term.holding

I like lit.l, it is slowly compounding but the market wants to see results.

Spreadbet/cfd costs you in funding. But also has advantages, when you get the inevitable news of a big win or change in nav you can buy more in rally. Take a look

I can solve both issues for you.

If you hold as a spread bet.

1. I get full dividend ( no deduction)

2. Not all your capital is invested. Say put 20pct margin and 30pct more for protection

If you believe it will not go massively down.

This is what I do. Not sure if IG index still offer as spread bet. CFD would be other option but spread bet is tax free

Only a tiny amount. Maybe they want to start dividend history to attract different types of investors.

The traders love It because news is positive, but lumpy. They can build big positions and then sell out on good news and rebuy.

The company knows this and I pretty sure they will continue buy backs. They are long term thinkers and being able to buy back on price falls is actually good for shareholders and the company.

Need a longer run mindset on this or just a trading one IMO
