I suggest you have a look at the half year in the RNS, it has some of the info you are looking for e.g:

"IPF is classified as a rare disease and presents a global commercial market that is forecast to grow to US$8.8bn by 2027. Sales of standard-of-care ("SoC") therapies OFEV and Esbriet (now off patent) achieved US$3.5bn and US$0.8bn respectively in 2022."

There is also info on patient numbers in US

To be fair to them OSD, the exact wording in that RNS was:

" We will now submit an application for US FDA orphan drug designation and continue discussions with potential future licensing partners and will provide further updates in due course as appropriate."

They didn't say they were doing it last week. That appeared in one of those guff responses I was talking about earlier.

We have no idea if that was genuine or not, so best to treat it as not.

Mars, think back to last year when ODD was first touted up as a 'must have' for a deal. We all thought they were ready to go and we'd have a decision in about 3 months.

In actual fact, that ended dragging out and they didn't submit until January this year.

Not saying it can't happen but I'll believe it when I see it.

I certainly won't be believing the guff that pump n dump merchants spout on here about what they've been told by the company.

New money blames Old money for talking the share down. Old money expected to quietly disappear into the night.
