"I do notice however a nice rise this morning, someone is interested in buying into NFX :)"
Are you sure you're looking at NFX?
Unless I'm missing something the bid is 0.18p and the ask is 0.22p - down -2.7% with a total of 112,466 shares traded (about £225)
Back on 29th Feb, OlderButWiser kindly shared a rough transcript of the communication as presented to the Telegram group in which the following points were highlighted:
"• EU patent for 002 is in process of finalisation and will be announced imminently.
• Orphan drug status application submission.
• 004 patents progress and update
• The NEW plan mentioned by Dan, whatever that is, to promote company based upon BD progress and the massive potential (his words) they see.
• The company will update with company presentation soon."
Has ANY of this actually come to pass?
If the EU patent was supposed to be in the process of finalisation, why has nothing been announced in the nearly 2 months since? They could have been over half way through the orphan status process in that time.
Why does the company have nothing to say?
Transhaven, did you get a response to your email?
"No Chab there is no obligation on them to inform shareholders every time they file for a patent, orphan status or a grant."
By the same rule Jiving, If that really is a Nuformix representative then why do they feel obliged to share the company's intentions via a limited confab on Telegram?
Pre-AGM all rumour pointed towards orphan status being the key to any deal. So either that was all BS and they haven't submitted it or they don't want to announce that they have. I don't know the answer to that.
What is remarkably strange though is that there is a deafening silence from a number of individuals who would normally be very quick to pour cold water on anyone suggesting that things might not be moving along. Again, I have no idea why. Hopefully they are all in good health. It just seems unusually strange that they don't have anything at all to say.
I thought Gooding was brought in as a Business Development Consultant back in Mar 2022 (see RNS dated 28 Mar 2022).
Was that not when they decided that things were at a point where it was feasible to start approaching potential partners?
It's the same old same old Peverill.
Zero transparency for shareholders. It feels like they are afraid of letting slip that they have applied for orphan status for fear of garnering genuine interest that could actually drive the share price up. Its hard to believe they haven't actually done it yet given it costs nothing and is made out to be so important for striking a deal.
It makes you wonder who they are actually talking to. Whoever it is, they can't have very deep pockets because if NXP002 has the blockbuster potential they claim it has then it would still be a bargain if someone bought the whole company out for 10p per share.
Mars, it is completely vague.
When I read the following:
“NXP002 is a likely candidate for Orphan Drug Designation”, but it has not been granted this status yet.
I actually interpret it as:
“NXP002 is a likely candidate for Orphan Drug Designation”, but it has not been granted this status yet....because we've either not submitted it or we don't want to be transparent about the fact that we have.
If you care to do some research yourself, you'll find that they've told us about being in 'multiple' talks before. What exactly did that amount to?
2019 multiple talks with Asian partners for NXP002 and others = zip
2019 NXP001 2m deal with China = zip
2019 51m potential deal with Ebers Tech = zip.
So maybe the market just does not react to cheap talk about talks and deals anymore because there is simply no evidence that it has ever happened.
Announcing an application for orphan status might at least prove that we have something worth looking at
"It would be a positive if approved but I don't see how just saying it's been applied for is going to make any difference to the share price"
It would make a he'll of a difference to shareholder confidence...which might just affect the price.
There is only one reason for not announcing it and that is because you haven't done it
Are you bored Trans? I'm not surprised. Not much appears to be going on.
Never mind, it's already 15 days since they applied for orphan status (according to Trombone)....only another 45 days to go!
Plenty of time to convert any decent chance of a deal into something a bit more tangible for the long-suffering shareholders, surely?
