Was that not just a deal done with a market maker or someone at a discounted price on which they were able to make a profit by selling quickly?

2 years since talks began and the company insisted funding for EMA ODD was the only route to a deal.

We finally reach EMA ODD over a year ago. Suddenly the goal posts change again to FDA ODD being crucial.

In the meantime, partner discussions are always supposed to be ongoing. There has been plenty of time to thrash out the details or at least formulate a plan/timeline so things can move quickly when FDA approval is granted (although they should have been ready when EMA ODD was granted).

We get to March this year, FDA ODD finally granted after months of delay (additional time which could have been used to move things forward in the background ready to hit the ground running).

Then we're told further funds and testing are required to meet due dilligence for advanced discussions.

90 days later we still have absolutely nothing! No partner details, no test details, no plan, no timeline. In fact all we learn is that Gooding has been busy setting up a new company (Ringlet Therapeutics). The bid is .15p!!!!

Ask yourself why is everything taking so long and only moving sequentially. Why weren't they ready to hit the ground running after all that time? Why are they never able to reveal solid plans & details about anything? How much time are they are actually dedicating to Nuformix on a week to week basis?

I don't know the answer to any of the above questions. I just keep hearing excuses about never-ending NDA's but I'm beginning to wonder if any of these discussions have yielded anything promising at all.

Where are the partners?

What obstacles remain to completing these 'advanced' discussions and what timeline is involved?

We have limited funds which we have just raised in order to 'strengthen our negotiating position'. How long will that last sending Gooding on jollies to America?

They tell us we are in advanced talks requiring due dilligence tests. Should we not progress this partner before wating time and money searching for others? If they are not worth it then why are wasting money on tests to satisfy them?

It's usually obvious who exactly companies are working with, we still don't know that after 2 years!

If meeting partners doesn't have to happen at the main conference then why go at all? Attending an expensive foreign conference to keep a 'partner' happy just causes unnecessary expense. It was argued that we were raising £1m funds to put us in a position of financial strength during negotiations. Why weaken it by squandering it on conferences we don't need to attend?

Literally basic finance lesson number 1.

Why let partners dictate where and when we meet all the time when we are trying to maintain a position of strength. If they are that interested and they have money why can't they book private hotel conference facilities to pursue things over here. Probably alot cheaper than us attending that conference. Why do we have to go to them all the time?

As you say, we have no offices, just a part time board and very, very limited funds to get us towards phase 1. Do you think anyone would really notice whether or not we miss an overseas conference or two while we focus on developing the 'advanced' partner talks we are already apparently working on? They will know who we are already, we've been talking to them for 2 years.

There is nothing stupid about any of those points...unless you feel you are losing the argument, of course.

I don't believe that spending precious limited funds to jet half way across the world to go to a conference that you don't actually need to go to makes any sense at all. The reasons being:

1. They are already supposed to be in advanced talks requiring due dilligence tests so shouldn't need to tout their wares over a stall any further at this point. Full focus should on nurturing that partnership rather than generating new ones.

2. Meeting up with the 'partner' at such a conference, even if it is to go off to discuss things privately backstage is risky if the 'partner' is so guarded (on pain of death) about their identity being revealed. Someone might notice who Nuformix are talking to and put 2 & 2 together? We couldn't have that, could we?

3. Both parties would have to waste even more valuable time & money sending delegates to attend a conference lasting several days that they don't really need to go to. Why not just meet privately at the partners office to save time & money?

They've done nothing visible on the partnership front in 2 years. Nothing still appears to have happened all these months after FDA ODD was granted. You asked the question yourself last week: "have the trials started"

Is it really stupid to be critical of no progress? Or are the stupid ones those who who blindly believe everything they are told without anything ever being revealed?
