New to this BB, but owned BP since 2016, only just got back into profit this year after 3 years of being under and now looks like revisiting that red zone again, ffs...

I'm all for CEO's getting bonus's and pay rises IF they make huge profits and manage the company to peak performance, but when you have had 8 weeks of BS cancellations, poor PR in terms of work force pay and media all over you like flies on dog matter??

Jtan, BP was over 500 about 4 years ago when oil was about $49 p/b, yet today it is 385 and oil over $115,.
Since the highs of last week for BP to today I've lost £36k in potential profit. So, not so much BP or Shell causing this, more OPEC that is gouging.

Jtan, no I bought another 10k when it dropped to 112, but really that makes only a small lowering of my average.

We may catch an upswing on Monday as the US markets are closed.. perhaps.

Funny how the US market went positive on the news of a the FED hike, yet the FTSE and UK stocks all go negative by the same percentage.

Actually staffing is not purely a UK issue, Zurich and Geneva airports have cancelled flights also due to overwhelming traffic and lack of ground staff. They have also told airport not to book passengers. Also Denmark and a few other European countries. Italy, well, they just want to strike.
Airport staff have airlines by the short and curlys, problem is, no passengers = no work, no work=you have no job.
