True....but Alliance say they don’t know why this is...here’s some correspondence from today: http://www.allianceresources.com.au/site/PDF/6908a4fd-cb99-4ca3-8054-a816aa2245f3/ResponsetoASXPriceQuery
the wallstreetbets influencers on Reddit are going after silver from today...any way they might be persuaded to pile into certain pharma shares doing good work to save lives??

...tell them to buy into Alba!
just bought another 9 grand’s worth to add to the collection...keeping the faith!
LTH here...just a reminder of the RNS from 20 November.
4th December: Consideration by the FDA for a conditional approval of Lupuzor™, whilst the Phase 3 trial is underway.
ImmuPharma will provide an update as soon as Avion has met with the FDA and notified ImmuPharma of the outcome.
So we wait........
Great to see a series of block sales of clearout shares yesterday totalling 38,233,796 - perhaps warrant holders perhaps others but the key points for me are that the share price was unaffected; that buying and confidence more than held up and importantly, the sales right at the end of the day still enjoyed an upward price. Onwards and upwards Alba!
As a long term holder and someone v optimistic about the future, I thought it could be interesting to make a comparison to Scotsgold, who feature in a BBC news item today titled: The rollercoaster ride of Scotland's first gold mine. Scotsgold poured their first gold this month and they have recoverable gold thought to be in the region of £263m. Their market cap is £54.62m, so about 64% over ours. BUT THAT'S ALL THEY HAVE. We have estimated gold assets at £700m and probably much more with the new quartz veins being discovered. Then factor in Greenland and the other assets and wahay...we're sitting on...as they say...a goldmine. GLA and happy new year. Baz
Let's just assume the assay results; the arrival of the machinery from South Africa and any other news re Clogau or indeed our other resources...will not arrive unti January. Let's take a big breath...deal with whatever tier we're in (for me 3 from tomorrow) and IF any news comes before the New Year...then it's a bonus. Have a good Christmas to all...Baz
30 year licence granted by Greenland to Bluejay and to be signed today. Bodes well for us as neighbours,
yes all very interesting but note that UKOG is also responsible for 50% of the costs so expect lots more dilution before anything comes out of the ground.
Sympathy with your thoughts as a long term holder myself. It's not reasonable to suggest the BOD would not issue new shares without shareholder consultation. It just won't happen. What would be good though...is if new shares are issued BECAUSE of amazing news that needs financial support. eg. we can get 10,000 oz out of the ground and we are raising £1m to do it. Just saying. All the best.
This is great news and renders the £7m market cap completely inappropriate. One day...perhaps not too many months away...when this is a £500m company, we will say...do you remember when we were worth peanuts? GLA. Baz
Matt...the MMs or Market Makers are the brokers licensed to trade shares on behalf of Alba or whichever company. They co-ordinate the price relative to supply and demand. Many shareholders, me included, believe their actions are not exactly transparent.
different viewpoints are perfectly acceptable and as long as they are informed a few points!
Buzzby you're wrong...the two Directors spent £30k each on shares... they have skin in the game
Completely agree ST. I've been very quiet here lately for reasons I can't discuss but why shouldn't ALBA be 10x what it is now for all the reasons. Hold strong everyone and enjoy the ride!
Quite correct Dilemma but we shouldn't be too hard on the newbie investor who quoted 56p instead of 0.56p. A schoolboy error yes, but one that everyone learns from and we all start our investment journey at some time.
No. The Gwynfynydd mine is owned by Clogau Gold of Wales Ltd, the separate business which makes and sells Welsh gold jewellery as per Kingkongrider's last post.
