This is significant - let’s not forget our nearly 12% share is a significant minority share of Horse Hill. I remember listening to the Surrey CC meeting as it was broadcast live years ago and it was a joke. This Court of Appeal decision settles things. Our Alba shares took several hits with bad news relating to HH before and now I hope the market will respond positively. But you know Aim! Whether HH for us is income or an asset to sell - this decision can only be viewed as positive. I expect Alba to RNS this here shortly. GLA. Baz

Indeed. The previous waste dump range of results were 4g - 9.89g per tonne. Let's assume we get back just an average of 6g per tonne. The 60kg sent off for assaying should yield just 0.36g on that basis. Yes we're talking tiny amounts but it's the scaling up that's interesting. SO...if 6g is in fact the average then our 5000 tonne waste dumps should yield 30kg of gold. The market rate for this is about £2.3m. HOWEVER...I believe we can obtain x3 for our gold as none has been seen for decades. Let's make 30 bullion bars of gold with our Welsh gold stamp imprinted on it and auction them. We know that certain retailers selling Welsh gold will clamour for them but also around the world the investment value and connection with Royalty will be infectious to an auction sale. News of this would reverberate around the world. So I predict the full waste dump gold could yield £5m-£8m if marketed correctly....and that's without any mining going ahead yet. When I was topping up buying tens of thousand of Pounds worth of Alba last Spring at around 0.3, I was happy with the price then. I knew the potential and and still know the potential.
Since then nothing has changed except progress. The dewatering will be sorted and the waste dump is finally being processed.
Groc is funded and will take no more funding from us so only upside. This is now ++ compared to when I previously bought. Of course this is significantly underpriced.
I'm looking forward to the year ahead. Transformational is a word I would rarely use about a share but I think this year could be it after being in here for over 5 years. GLA. Baz

At the shareholder meeting held years ago GF said regular monthly income was coming in from Horsehill and this was offsetting any costs incurred as part of our share. Any surplus would be net income but I have no idea if any months have achieved that. Baz

I have just read the whole of the RNS, unlike some earlier posters here I think. At last this is an excellent news story, not least because it brings good news across several mines. The constructive conversations regarding dewatering will also be helpful. We are moving in the right direction.

The issue for me is that the broker was paid in shares at the IPO - until they are sold through there will continue to be more shares sold than bought. Until news that is. I have always been positive about the assets nevertheless. Baz

Re Groc. Firstly i will say i believe it will come good. However, for me the issue is that the broker was paid in shares and there were lots of them. So in my view, until those shares are sold into the market and the spring window for Greenland opens i’m not sure GROC will bring returns. i would say to buy in low but who knows what number that is! Baz

Agreed agreed agreed! Process 250 tonnes of the waste dump which is supposed to have 4g/tonne of gold. Create a 1kg bar of gold. Do NOT sell it to a jeweller. Go on national news announcing first Welsh gold retrieved for decades and have Sotheby’s auction it with great fanfare at the next “rare jewels” auction. Come on guys! Baz
