was me BUYING topping up the ISA from the same value sale on Thursday.
So feeling bullish...we've waited long enough we can wait some more...
A juicy RNS at 4.45pm today would suit me very well…somebody at Alba open the post will you?!
Happy Easter to everyone and let’s hope by the end of next week there’ll be some life-changing news for our bat tenants!
So I admit to buying in heavily around 0.3 when there was a lot of confidence but no licence.
What i’m trying to work out is what should the true price be when this licence is through and if a plan of action does kick off June-August??
I just bought another £1000 - couldn’t resist at this price and brings my average down.
So this is effectively EU backing for the project..which presumably means first dibs on the product…which therefore means financial support when required to get the graphite out of the ground.
The EU has guaranteed a supply and we can guarantee and income. As the kids say…boom!
i would buy more at 0.59p!!! Are you posting on the right board?
Amazing GROC results…I particularly like the quote: “makes mine planning and the mining operations relatively simple and straightforward from a mining-technical viewpoint and with a minimum of waste rock produced“
Have a great Christmas and new year to all…most of us have been here a long time and at last I hope next year will be “the one”. cheers, Baz
can someone enlighten me about the use of Mt when referring to the graphite deposits and production. We have been told that the jorc assessment of Graphite deposit so far (due to be uplifted) is 8.28Mt. surely this can only mean 8.28 million tonnes? Annual Chinese production is quoted as 820,000 Mt which i understand to mean metric tonnes. Has Alba not explained this well enough? After all, if we only had 8.28 metric tonnes we might as well go home and forget about it!
I have been sitting on some information on this subject and i have emailed Vivian directly this morning.
This is positive and starts to get the ducks in a row.
All the best, Baz
ok let’s have some fun….would anyone like to estimate what the wholesale value of the graphite asset is in Greenland? Yes i know it’s a bit of a back-of-a-***-packet calculation…but let’s have some estimates from the wise ones amongst you.
All the best, Baz
My view is that the Board is hedging it’s bets.
They can’t do a placing knowing the result of the dewatering decision. However, it makes sense to do one so cash is in the bank if (a) the application fails or (b) it succeeds.
it’s too risky to wait until the result because it could go either way. if the application fails, everyone will say well done GF for getting some cash in advance in order to take quick action. On the other hand if permission is granted they will say why didn’t you wait until you could raise at a higher price.
Better cash in the bank and action can be taken as soon as the result is in, whatever it is.
Good luck to my fellow long-suffering holders! Cheers Baz
Groc can’t be automatically bought as a whole as we own 54%.
if a buyer goes over 30% they can make an offer but it doesn’t have to be accepted by Alba.
That’s why we have over 50%.
i just bought another £1286 worth. Gotta believe in the future prospects. ??
So i’ve been holding 31m shares for a very long time.
Yes my average is more than double the current price.
Yes I’m certain this will come good and repay me handsomely.
Hold and watch and believe. I do. Groc will sort us out in graphite spades…
And if the gold comes into play as well that will be. a bonus.
All the best to LTH friends. Baz
it’s just not going to happen. With profits of £20 million to be announced, a lucky valuation would be £400 million. Nick Robertson once told me Asos will never pay dividends, and that has been proven so far. Bestseller bought their 29.9% block over a period for more than the current price and would only take a few more shares to be purchased before requiring them to make an offer which wouldn’t be much higher than now. As for them selling…Why would they sell out to someone else? They have a secure market for their own products through Asos - I can’t see them changing that and they don’t need cash.
For years you could always expect this share to head toward £50+ if it had drifted down to £10. Not any more.
Still…I regret selling these 11 years ago at £1.40.
Good luck all.
“The outline of an emerging and scalable rare earth mineral province.” sounds good to me!
HMRC investigation into Next’s payroll with fines over situations like poor workers losing benefits and not being paid properly…might have something to do with it..
There was mention of all of these things but no specific date points. Regarding JVs he said they had to "be careful". I get the feeling they would like to do a lot themselves if values are proved up. I said I'd rather they were able to borrow against prove resources than have us diluted hugely. They have produced a new brochure which I believe is now online or will be soon. This was paid for by a grant from the South Australia government - they relocated and received PR grants which is good. That's all I can say for now but he is doing the rounds in the City making presentations which is good.
Not specifically. That's why a five year plan will be so helpful.
There are a lot of stages to go through first. Also there is a major problem in Australia regarding assaying - huge delays when tests that should come back after a few weeks are taking months, so lots of delays outside of their control.
HOWEVER, as long as each milestone reached is in the right direction that is all good. B
