I’m tempted to say that the derisking by AIM investors has been throwing some babies out with the bathwater. My guess is that attractive companies which have a large degree of control over their shareholder register (as well as strong market positions) will soon be getting deals done at a pretty fancy premium over their recent traded share prices.

The interesting thing from that article is the list of AIM stocks that are widely held by fund managers. Fevertree, for example, is held by nearly 40 managers. How many (apart from Miton) hold Cyan at present?

I personally wouldn’t put so much store on could/would significance - but I do certainly think that the upcoming trial update is likely to be the most material and significant announcement so far this year. Whether that is accompanied by a swift deal for SCIB1 (or the whole platform) is rather less certain - but I’d think the share price will roughly double over the next 5-6 weeks as people realise that the recent fall was due to a mismanaged sale conducted during a close period.

Since the UK/India trade deal negotiations now appear to be entering their final stages, I wonder if there are any PR or contract implications for Cyan - either in terms of winning business or announcing wins?

The wider investment market doesn't matter all that much - the audience is mostly prospective counterparties for deals.

Of course it would be nice to feel that all progress is widely recognised by the stockmarket - but it isn't necessary, at least for buy and hold investors.

I’ve got a good chunk of shares already (around a thousandth of the company) but if I had the cash spare - which I don't, thanks to the BOMAD currently putting up a sum to the tune of 35% of a London house - I’d be keen to double/triple my stake at these 10.5p levels. Perhaps the lottery will oblige? 😉

The relevant point here is:

…..2026 is a key point in this. I suspect they would want a couple of years of development time - so if they are interested in buying Scancell or Moditope I think they will need to move during 2024.

August may well be a quiet month newswise (though who knows?) but the following three months will be packed with news on both the major trials (and likely on Modi-2 plans too…..).

No…..the numbers always were to have 21 in each combination cohort and 15 in each surgery cohort. See slide 12 from AGM.

However, I’d say the timing does indeed appear to have accelerated a bit - and, very importantly, the cohort who will undergo surgery in any event has also been accelerated. So we will be getting to to endpoint to full recruitment of the complete trial much sooner, with the only element having been dropped being the TNBC arm for the Modi1+CPI combination.

And we will also likely get some data by AGM time (as Burble noted) on “before and after” comparisons of the early surgical patients.

Even TNBC monotherapy may be beneficial - and perhaps the overall lesson from the trials will be that earlier intervention with Modi-1 vaccine may arrest/reverse the development of several cancers?

Nobody has "called it right" until they have exited with a decent profit for the time spent waiting.

Similarly nobody has "called if wrong" until they have crystallised a loss.

The great majority of those here are in neither camp.....yet.

On the topic of being "back to 3/4 of derisory" (which is a fair point), I'll be interested to see the auction at the close today. A couple of million at 14p+ would focus some minds.
