The price was driven up last week by lifting all the offers and now they’ve stopped and are waiting to see how much hitting of the bid goes on from panicking profit taking retail traders. The answer looks to be pretty satisfactory from their standpoint - so rinse and repeat…..

I bought a few more at 9.3p, BOJO, in early May. Thought I might trade them out again but, after seeing the deep interest from professional buyers since then, I’m intending to hold the lot.

One data point that is often under-considered is that Scancell should by now have a complete analysis of several resected tumours which have been treated with Modi-1. I suspect that will tell them a lot!

Can’t disagree with that. I’ve applied for a 35% increase in my stake. Still chickenfeed, being long from much higher but, at some point, this will have an enormous payoff for those who get in now

I don’t follow them, but I’m not surprised because, for those who look at charts etc, it would appear an “obvious” trade.

Equally obvious is the fact that well-informed buyers are happy that the bait is being taken by enough to move the price lower, setting up for a closing raid after a few days. Will that be today? Who knows?

Whether this week or next, it is important to remember this is professional buying. What is happening is that private investors who fancy themselves as traders are being steadily being separated from their shares at current levels.

Spot on CrustyPete. People will supply stock to the buyer at under 20p…..so he/they may as well pause for a few days to let them do so.

Once it gets through 20p it will move quickly, I think. Time is running out to accumulate at decent levels.

Not that odd. Up 1p yesterday……won’t want to be pushing it up like that every day, so sowing some doubt just under a big figure is smart trading.

It certainly isn’t buying for a small turn. Pretty obvious that they are looking for 5x to 50x return……and equally clear that they would have tried approaching the company first. What matters is the size on the stake they can buy…..and today’s action suggests they now need to accelerate fast.

Bojo’s analysis at 08.18 is spot on. I totally agree that they have declined further funding - and that is itself a very clear buy signal…..not least for anyone who wants a stake.

There’s a typo in that bot “analysis”. There is nothing “potential” about the last month.

These things would be more useful if they could make such calls a month earlier, rather than saying the bleeding obvious. 🙄

I suspect it will lead to a cash sale of the Namibia licence (possibly with a production royalty) and provide the capital for investing elsewhere. Back costs are quite material here I think, relative to the share price close on Friday.

The volume has been healthy but not “extraordinary”. Over the last month, the price has nearly doubled but the total volume has still been less than 5% (ie less than 2.5% per side). I think we will soon be seeing volumes of three or four times that amount, but it will probably need to see prices in the high twenties before sufficient sellers can be found. Meanwhile the grind higher will continue.

Nice to finally get back above the share price of 18 months ago that Vulpes research piece dismissed as “derisory”.

In my opinion, if Vulpes were to repeat their assessments now, any share price below 50p or so would be considered derisory. Personally I won’t be selling a single share below £1, at the minimum - even from my top-up in May.

Good question in that case. It may depend on how many big buyers are active. If there are a few, then the risks of being too slow in buying will be larger.

I don’t think the buyers have a particular price target in mind - it will be all about the volume ie the size of their target holding.
