I’d guess that those who approached the company last December with an offer of funding (which led to the unexpected raise) will be doing so again. The share price will tell us over the next ten days what the response is - because if they want a position before the trial news drops and the company declines to supply one directly (as I expect it would, with the two largest shareholders now on the board) then those who want a position are going to have to buy quite aggressively in the market.

It seems you haven’t read the RNS either……they clearly expect income from milestones and a new Mab deal. And they plainly expect to commence the registration trial within that 11 months, perhaps with a partner buying in. And the extension and rollup on the CLNs cuts the cash outflow immediately.

Lindy also referred twice to SC139. I got the impression she’d just got off a plane, as she also referred to “here and in the UK”……

Re AIM and government plans, I’d guess that anyone holding shares in a way that makes them liable to CGT is thinking about crystallising gains before the CGT rate is raised. And there may be a drag on purchases for the same reason, pending clarity.

Unlikely. Mid-October (for Lindy’s confenerence appearance) or late November are more likely. Probably the latter, given we’re still seven patients short of the full cohort.

Any raise will follow the SCOPE data and possibly a deal on SC134. That seems pretty clear from the RNS. Accordingly the price will most likely start with a 2.

…..granted that the £25mn given was six months out of date, but milestone payments could change it materially anyway.

They can do anything they like, providing shareholders approve it.

My read is also that they are highly confident of commercial development. But, picking up on Burble’s point, lets assume it is now 32/43 and 28/43……do they announce when the target end-point has been reached? Why wait for 43/43?

I suspect everybody with charge a fee. And most people are ok with that because they hold shares in an ISA.

Guessing you don’t, so I’d suggest you contact the company secretary for Scancell and ask their advice. Perhaps they have some sort of arrangement? Or perhaps you could hold the shares in the old-fashioned certificated way?

I think we’ll get updates on both Modi-1 and Scib1 before the AGM (late November) and probably an antibody deal. We’ll also get clarity on the plans for Modi-2.

Simply untrue. Gross buys are roughly half the daily volume and getting hold of a majority of the shares purchased would require a persistent focus and paying top prices.

You’d need a minimum traded volume of at least 30-40 million shares to have a hope of acquiring 10 million…..and that would take many weeks.

Lets be clear: Most funds need a stake of ten million shares or so at current prices in order to move their performance dial. And most won’t get that, even if they tried to.

But, with positive news, there will FOMO if they don’t have any holding at all.
