Re timing, I think that having it later could be more complicated re newsflow and IR. As it stands (taking on board Ivy’s point), there will be little new hard news unless they announce SCOPE results the week before…..which I think is unlikely.

I would think that the timing of the AGM is driven by the expected timeline of trial results. On balance, I think it is “earlier” because they want to clear the decks for announcements of substance on deals, trial results and future plans for the registration trial. But there may be other factors at play too.

I guess there is also a chance that the SCOPE trial results are announced at the time of the conference the previous week, or perhaps in an AGM statement.

Is this the event that some people thought Lindy was going to replace Samantha Paston for?

Events that occur in September could still be promptly reported tomorrow. There are still 12 hours of the quarter left…..

The important bit is this:

…….and the interesting bit of that is the description “long-term”, because that points to retaining the key IP.

Lets hope that belief is well-founded and can be validated in the NEAR-term.

I’m expecting it in the last week of November, but I imagine they will call it to fit in with other events. I’d expect it to be announced in the week after Lindy presents on the 18th. But this is merely my guess.

I quoted the details of the other patent holder in the 3rd post in this thread. For reasons best known to yourself, you ignored this paragraph when you lifted the extract you used for your first quote, despite it being immediately below.

There are two completely separate and different SC27 mabs, owned by different people and doing different things. This is going to confuse AI article-writers (as you indicate) and also going to mislead stupid people. But it is a fact, despite being unhelpful.

If you persist in peddling this lie, you will be put on ignore because it devalues everything else you contribute.

I have confirmed that the Texas Biomed SC27 mab targeting Covid has absolutely no relationship to Scancell’s SC27 mab recognising a glycan on a tumour. Pure coincidence that they have the same name.

Just repeating my 7.20 am post. If today’s move back up continues, I suspect we know the answer…..

I’d guess that those who approached the company last December with an offer of funding (which led to the unexpected raise) will be doing so again. The share price will tell us over the next ten days what the response is - because if they want a position before the trial news drops and the company declines to supply one directly (as I expect it would, with the two largest shareholders now on the board) then those who want a position are going to have to buy quite aggressively in the market.

The movement up from 9p makes perfect sense to me but, since I topped up at 9.3p, I would say that wouldn’t I? Very much more to come, I think…..

I suspect that Scancell’s SC27 is the subject of the exclusive evaluation. It targets ovarian cancer.

But it seems there is another MAb with the same name, coincidentally, as the bit under Cleanerworld’s quote says….
