Same story today as almost every day. After trading with tons of buying at 15.2 last thing it was inextricably closed at 14.9 with a UT. This morning was kicked down again in the auction to 14.64. Thats almost 0.6 p or 4% down without a single sell being registered. Similar sized aim shares need a sell off to see a 4% drop - not here! Then buying all day sees us currently trading at 14.99 slightly up from yesterday's close after buying all day (just like yesterday) . I predict the closing auction will see us close with a UT of c. 14.55p before opening tomorrow in the low 14s before we are allowed to rise back to just below 15.5p again. Rinse and repeat.

We need news to break out of this tedious manipulated trading cycle.

Don't really see what other reason there can be. Everyone saw exactly what I've been talking about in the close. It's blatant and has been for weeks. Re the interims it won't be possible then because of the volume which will come in. It didn't happen yesterday because we got decent volume into the close. At the moment we have lo volume and are in a news vaccum so its easier for small volumes of trades to influence the price - especially when the trades buy or sell directly on the bid or ask.

If I'm wrong explain the justification for dropping it 0.3p in the closing auction? VWAP was 15.11 for the day and there was buy after buy at 15.2 into the close.

Don't know, but whoever follows this closely can see its being manipulated down. The opening and closing auctions are completely detached from the trades during the day. If this behaved in the open and close as normal shares it would be rising day on day. The mms move it down and it take all day to reverse what they did at the open then they just decide to move it down again in the closing auction. Its quite clear to everyone whats going on. They want it below 15p. My only explanation is that someone is building a position at that level, because it cannot be a seller or we would see the trades come up after hours.

As a case in point look at today. It opens at 15.38 and is kicked down to 15p on the basis of one small sell. Then it trades above 15p all day lots of buying on the ask at 15.2p the last few hours. Then inexplicably the mms have the UT at 14.9 and it ends tge day down 2.5% on nothing. Literally no significant selling all day. And again this was on a low volume day. There haven't been any big sells pop up recently so it's not selling in the background.

It was happening back at the start of the month too. I have been holding for a few months and its been happening since I bought in. Some long termers say its been happening all year. Keep an eye on the closing and opening auctions. It almost always end down on how it was trading and then down from where it closed. Never been in another share which behaves that way. When volume comes in it doesn't happen. Been very easy to manipulate during the summer while traders are on holiday and volumes are low.

Well DB upped the stake in Wressle which seems like a dead duck without the national government getting involved. I wonder personally why EDR put so much effort into Wressle to the detriment of Biscathorpe if the NLC are so clearly a bunch of *****. If the Bisca drill had gone ahead as planned we'd be at 0.2 by now. We will still get to 0.2p now if it goes ahead. The question is will it? I'm betting it will because both EDR and UJO need to get their SP up and I can't see any other way to do it right now.

It gets kicked down in every closing and opening auction because someone is trying to keep it down - presumably because they are building a position at this low level. They depend on low volume to be able to do this. Once the RNS's start rolling in for the exploration programme and then the interims and (hopefully) improved August production figures we should see the rerate to 20-30p.

positive day today. Imo opinion the breakout is underway. Exploration programme will start any day. The interims and exploration targets could see this bag in the next few months if all goes according to plan.

buying 4,000,000 shares here. Should I put my faith in DB again after the dissapointments with the NLC this year? In view of cuadrilla being allowed to drill I wonder whether EDR might be the better investment.

Really can't see drilling happening in Jan/Feb north sea. Why would they risk drilling in those conditions. It would make much more sense to wait until Spring. If that's the case - and I felt it was ever since the last terrible RNS - I suspect this will have further to fall.

However, it will present an incredible entry towards the end of this year. Anybody out should keep a keen eye on what the price is doing. I know I am.

Presumably people would prefer it were like it was a few months back where tge BB was full of negativity and nobody in the AIM oil space knew who AMER were or even that they were carrying out a drill campaign this year. Did you really want this place to stay somewhere where people principally moaned about the money they had lost?

Not sure to what extent you can blame the board for ALL of the problems here the last few years. The biggest factor was the drop in the price of oil. Also the recent drop in production was a result of deterioration of 22. The current drill campaign has been delayed - which I guess you could attribute to them. However, pretty much every AIM explorer has been delayed this year, some much more than AMER (AAOG was supposed to drill 103 a year ago!).

My main criticism of the board is that they were not agressive enough with the exploration, specifically on put 9 and 12 bordering on Platanillo. They put all their eggs in platanillo and the issues with production on the block have come back to bite them. However, as long as the drill campaign go ahead and we start working on 9 and 12 in Q1 all the historical issues are resolved imo. Personally having experience of Colombia I think the reason they held off exploration is that they wanted to avoid having to truck the oil through territory that the FARC were operating in, hence the pipeline. In the long run this was misguided because FARC have now demobilised, but they didn't have a crystal ball to know this would happen.

Dunno. But I haven't see this much deramping on here before. Usually a good sign a breakout is coming.

Just bounced off a 5 year low, 5kbopd, $11m revenue per month and forecasted to have $30m+ post tax profits for the year. Yet you're comparing this with companies like GGP on thst list which have zero revenue have placing aftet placing and have the board ramp the share by releasing pictures of gold nuggets found by the ceo going for a walk in his hiking boots with a metal detector.

Presumably the issue with seismics on our acreage is that most of it is covered in trees and the area is inaccesible. They generally only get taken down in the areas the roads are going through or the platform is built on. I must admit that I don't know much about the mechanics of seismics. Is there any way around this?

Just gave you my honest opinion mate. AAOG will rise a bit if oil shows are released and thats the time to sell imo. Just business leave your emotions at tge door AMMU as your twitter photo says.

If #AMER became over valued damn right I would be saying so. But that wouldn't be the case until it got over 40p as it stands and 60p+ if all the drill come in. I'm not a member of a cult AMMU, I want to make MONEY.

Stick to the explorers Ammu. Yes the first layer is priced it. As I've already said on twitter I see it going to 14p if they release oil shows (on hype). But if mengo is a duster it will drop back to about 10p (or less) which is what aaog is worth on 300 barrels a day.

You don't have any experience valuing any oiler than an explorer in its first phase hence why you think an oil co having a 170m mcap is "crazy high". HUR has a 1 billion mcap right now on the basis of 25k offshore production which it isn't even pumping yet, AMER has 5k onshore and had 7k before production issues which were just solved with a workover.

As for criticising me because I don't promote a share I've sold and made money on, you do realise tgat trading shares is about making money right? I buy when undervalued and sell when overcooked. I bought AAOG at 8.9p and sold at 12p. I bought JOG at 180p and sold at 250p. I have bought here with a 14p average and fully expect 20p at the minimun 30p if the drills come off

Take a look at the big names in AAOG on twitter, they aren't promoting it like they were before because they have sliced and will just ride free shares for the drill. Nobody with any sense would risk big capital on the results of a single drill, its madness. Wait for the TR1s which are sure to come in soon to that effect.

The reason you're on here is because AMER is the obvious place right now to recycle profits made on AAOG from 8-9p (where I bought) and you are hoping to put them off. If not why are you here? You clearly have no interest in buying in.

Check out my post history. Recently I predicted UOG would drop from 5.5p and AAOG would drop to the 10s and JOG to the 160/170s I'd say that gives me more credibility than most of the people out there in the AIM oil space.

4000bopd? 103 will not pump anymore than 500bopd as only one layer is more or less guaranteed and Mengo is only 60% and won't pump much. Djeno will more than likely be a duster. The first layer is already priced in and if Mengo is a duster it will crash. All the risk free money has been made on AAOG already.

All of AMER's drills are in existing prolific fields and all they need to do is get the drill spinning to get it out. Indico-1 is drilling in a field which has 20kbopd and 30kbopd wells on ajoining targets and could easily give 10-20k+ per target, then after indico-1 we have sol and aguila on the same block. N-sands in platanillo could be the biggest target drill on that block so far and could easily give us another 2k from the multiple wells being drilled. Then there is Put 8. We are also drilling PUT 9 and 12 which are targetting 100s of millions of barrels in Q1.

Go to your one hit all or nothing explorer. This is profitable, the interims are due, its at a 5 year low and will have constant positive newsflow from here to easter 2019.
