Lumipat I disagree when you saying upside is rather low.

The team has been going on and on about resource upgrades and been drilling for ages to prove this. They continue to say 50mt is absolutely achievable. If they get to 50mt and we base on $1kpt Kodal’s profit is estimated at £342m over the life of the mine. Heck even if we don’t get any resource upgrade (which clearly won’t happen), Kodal’s profit is estimated at £218m.

Then you have gold and with Fatou only previous MRE was 350k oz. Revenue based on today’s price is £782m, Kodal’s share estimated at £249m based on same share as lithium. Of course there are associated costs, but to say upside is limited I massively disagree with.

Good to get the permits but still concerning no rat and perhaps Ghana will negotiate a larger slice. If this gets ratified as it stands, it will fly. Come on Ghana sort it out…

So I think this means as it stands SV and SVV1 net asset value for MF was £9m before increase in IR valuation which added a further £5m so therefore total net asset value right now is £14m, with a market cap of £6m. Undervalued hell yeah!

He says it’s great news for business, the economy and the advancement and commercialisation of AI. Anything that makes the foundation models better, faster or cheaper is good for the roll out of AI. It’s great news for businesses that use, or build on, the foundation models, start-ups that leverage them for new products and great news for AI agents joining the workforce.

Deepseek shows that the costs of producing and running advanced reasoning AI models can be reduced dramatically by algorithmic improvements. This means that the unit costs of running AI goes down dramatically.

These are Barry’s own words on Linked In and he is an expert in the field. Of course DYOR but the rapid sell off in light of Deepseek news is quite frankly crazy with such good fundamentals here.

Yep totally agree, they have totally transferred a plot of land covered with trees to a decent scale mine. And this is just the start ie the DMS, wait until the floatation big boy comes along! 99 per cent of junior miners fail to get to production and kodal is within touching distance of being the 1 per cent who become producers 👍

Was anyone in here when it was Pires? I believe Tern did offer to buy Pires out for 8p but was rejected by shareholders. Surely this again reinforces Mindflair is v undervalued? Unless the holdings etc were massively different? Also did Riverfort sell due to the RTO? I’m assuming so but would appreciate anyone’s thoughts.

I think on the last presentation he said within the first half of the year? When it drops I’m expecting a large increase as they have always aimed for 50mt and said this multiple times. Look next door at Goulamina, huge! In theory there should be a decent re rate when they announce it.

Cheers Flombo, that’s what I thought too. Realisation of svv1 is due to happen over the next few months which should push up the nav per share further in theory. Just because we’re part of the AI sector we have had a drop in SP, totally get Nvidia and AMD suffering. Fundamentals remain strong and with £6m market cap potential of decent upside. Here is hoping!

Let’s not forget that Mr Lee has share options…one tranche at 2.5p and another at 4p so clearly it’s in his interest to get the SP rising north. Any tech experts out there? Eg with the portfolio I understand that we may use openAI as it currently stands with Get Visibility. So could they pivot to integrate with Deepseek instead if required?

Deepseek spooked whole ai sector. I get it affecting the likes of Nvidia who have a market cap of $2.9T (possibly overvalued) but bit crazy affecting Mindflair who have a market cap of £6m with current nav per share of 2.70p (likely to be higher though). With only just over 500m shares here traders can get locked out buying and selling, with plenty of good news to come we hope. So I’m buying the dips as feel it’s v undervalued at these levels in the medium to long term.

I do think it is a little odd Riverfort selling a chunk. However I think it’s due to the RTO that Riverfort are involved in perhaps? The recent share options are good for shareholders as provides an incentive for Mr Lee to increase the share price and add value. Any other thoughts?

Article on AI…some interesting reading. Not a fan of Goldmans but have to say they got lithium forecasts bang on (I’m invested in a lithium stock too), useful to hear (also say diversification is key and MFAI have a highly diverse portfolio)…
