Hi Sharebug yep I’m with you too. It’s perplexing why it’s languishing at these levels. I understand some have been put off with Mali now taking 35 per cent. But when you do the calcs there is still a huge amount of £ to be made. Not many aim shares are more than fully funded so we are about to enter the producer stage, which is a huge step for kod. Am I kicking myself not selling when it reached 0.88? Yep I am a little but hindsight is a wonderful thing. I do think that level will be breached at some point. Can’t say when but we are ridiculously undervalued at the current share price so I’m continuing to buy at these levels…

Yep and gold prices still near record highs (forecast is pretty strong too). Definitely makes senses to extract max value when kod can. Genuinely excited about 2025. Let’s hope the share price gets a kick up the a*se, it’s about time!

Indeed and power plant assembly next week…all coming together nicely. Key off take terms finalised just obviously some minor tweaks before it is fully confirmed by both parties. Resource upgrade I reckon will be mid 2025 as drilling being conducted in Q1. I’m happy waiting as I think we are sitting on a monster (just look at Goulamina next door). Not long until production guys. Merry Xmas to you all!

I personally think it’s good for kod as we are on the new code and have played ball and clearly have a strong relationship with government. Mali government will not like Barrick’s stance. One reputation is damaged it is hard to recover and Mali government will forever keep an eye on them.

Understand why barrick have taken that stance but damn I wouldn’t have the balls to do that…I think it’s best to play ball with the government here and do what Kodal has done.

Cheers for the link, will be interesting to see what the floor price agreed will be. I think $900 per ton. He also said they are likely to get more than 50mt in resource next year. Currently at 31.9mt. Current kodal estimated profit based on 31.9mt based on $1kpt is £504m (based on 3.26mt spod) based on us having 31.85 per cent of the project. If we get to 50mt then profit is estimated at £791m! So rather undervalued for long term investors…absolutely! And this obv doesn’t include any gold figs…

Fully agreed both, that is not some small rubbish plant. They really are progressing well which is great to see. Come on lassonde curve kick into action please haha! Everyone has their own entry and exit points. I’d say it is virtually impossible to buy at the bottom and sell at the top. I could have sold at 0.85 ish and made a healthy profit but that’s not my exit point. I’m happy to hold until I get to that level. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, I never saw kod dipping to these levels. But I’m more than happy holding a decent chunk here and believe in the long term.
