Sneckie it depends on what you call cheap when referring to a sell off. I thought PI's still hold majority of shares so we would have a significant say in any proposed sell off. (I could be wrong on % in PI hands. If I am I am sure someone will point it out to me PDQ).
Even a cheap sale would be (IMHO) many multiples of today's SP.
FWIW I think that the further we go into trials the more likelyhood of success and equally the higher the potential sale price. (Again I think it will be many multiples of current SP).
We are now (at the very least) level, if not further ahead than we would have been had the MHRA in the UK given us the green light. The SP is significantly lower than the day that news broke, so I see a sizeable upside on that point alone.
Sentiment can change very quickly with this share. We have seen it before, and in the absence of any bad news the SP at this level represents a real bargain. (Again this is AIMHO).

SP was 140p when SAR notified that we did not get authorisation for trials in UK back in Nov. So there is still some upside to be had before we get back to that point. Also we are now a little ahead of that as P1a is already underway.
Not sure what "itchy bum time" is. But last presentation by BoD was just under a month ago. It was without a doubt the most positive I have felt about real progress with SAR for some considerable time. General consensus was that it was a very positive presentation and that the BoD had actually been incredibly pro-active in the last few months.
What has changed sine that presentation? Nothing, just the passage of time. Did we expect an update in te 3 or 4 weeks immeidately after presentation? I didn't.
News will come when it comes. Hopefully within the next 4 weeks we will get an update and hopefully it will be positive. Worst case I think we will get news within 6-8 weeks. Fingers crossed.
Until the news drops (one way or another) I think the SP will stay in this range. If it drops though I will top up.

HBD / SOG - Is it worth emailing DR's Mitchell & Parker this info? I know they should know, but it might be worth highlighting it to them.
You will say "of course they will know", but nothing surprises me anymore.

No Joey - I think the SP dropped to this range because of the news a few months ago regarding the MHRA. I think the SP is artificially being held back because of MM's, or more specifically whatever the demands being put on themat the moment. (Potentially a large buy order(s)). That is why I asked the question if it is possible to buy a large amount at the moment on the market. I know it is possible to sell at least 25,000 shares in one hit, so clearly their is an appetite for MM's to buy shares, not sure if they have an appetite to sell the same amount. I don't have the funds spare to try and buy that amount (either in reality or as a dummy trade).

MM's still want shares IMHO. Looks like they are trying to fill a large buy order, but no one is selling. Are they going to raise the price or lower it? I think they might lower it in the short term in a hope to flush out sellers, they won't want to raise it as they will have a price to meet for the buyer. Otherwise they will be out of pocket. Or they have to say to buyer they can't fill the order. Let's see how this plays out.
What I don't know as do not have the funds is whether it is possible to buy a large amount.

Friday they were willingto pay 83.5p for all of mine, so in real terms they are willing to pay me 3p more today than Friday yet the SP shows a 5% drop on the day. Fun & games!
Clearly SP not going to rise until MM's fully loaded, or they are trying to fill a large order. Or both.
