Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
We have tried engaging with you sensibly but you ignore our views and jsut repeating your own. Many of us have said you may well be right, but equally you could be wrong, or that we could both end up being right.
Unfortuantely you can't seem to bring yourself to do the same. Therefore there is no point debating you, as you are unwilling / unable to consider a different point of view. On that basis I have given up trying to debate.
So Numpty Dumtpy, why don't you just jog on. You and your bro (Humpty Dumpty) can go and annoy a different bb. Surely there must be hundreds of Shares that the shareholders are missing out on your wise words.
Looks like Humty's already moved on.
Go and find the other half of the Dumpty Brothers.

The Dumtpy brothers - it's got a ring to it.
It was hard to hear him. What with the wind roaring in my ears from the Mega death Spiral we are on.
Oops, sorry my mistake, I heard him fine, there is no howling wind and there's no death spiral.
What a numpty.

MAJW - So tell me, what price did you get when you opened your short? It wasn't £1.05 that's for sure. SO what are you looking at at the moment? A 10% profit? Can't be more than 12% in my opinion.
SP doesn't seem to be dropping, so you have a dilema. Do you close your short or do you hold out for a big drop. Decisions decisions. It's difficult to pick the bottom isn't it, just like it's difficult to pick the top.
All I know is the potential upside on this share is fara greater than the potential downside.

Further to AntiFragile's bb, I would add that it would appear RF are drip feeding their shares into the market in a controlled manner. The inintla drop occurred in one go and stabalised in the 7's. They have (even using Mr Negative MAJW's guesstimate) got rid of half of their "stock". And actually the SP has stabilised further into the 8's (albeit the low 8's).
If it was in the 7's on the news of RF's involvement, but without them selling any, and now having sold half of their stock the SP has moved up into the 8's, that would appear to me to be the opposite of a helter skelter death spiral.
Question for MAJW- Do you think Dr Parker called up RF direct to purchase his shares? I know you had previously suggested anyone could do that.
You have lost all credibility in my eyes. (not that you had much anyway). At least at the start you sounded like you might know what you were talking about.
Turns out you're not the Messiah, you're a very naughty boy.

If I was RF I would probably release 100% of the 1st batch of £2M then hold the next 2 batches of £300k.
Depends on their appetite though.
Either way things are looking extremely positive in my eyes.

It has now been over a month since RF deal started. The SP was £1 when the credit facility was announced. We saw SP drop relatively quickly to 80p, which is where it has pretty much remained. So if they are "dumping" shares everyday then they seem to be doing it in a controlled manner. They loaned us £2M and are committed to another £300k on 3rd November and then another £300k on 3rd Feb. The 2 lots of £300k are small amounts in the great scheme of things, but even so. The total we could draw down is £5M, but we don't have to. If we stick at the £2M they have leant us for the first 3 months then I would imagine they have dumped at least a third £670k into market already.
So even if no news it would appear the SP has largely stabilised. Yes if there's good news and an increase in buying then RF might release more into the market. As we have had some good news in the last month there is a chance RF might have dumped more than a third into the market, my gut feeling is we are probably now at about half way.
Fingers crossed but on the face of it they appear to behaving sensibly. This is more a "driving Miss Daisy" kind of helter skelter rather than the "Death spike we are all going to die, soil myself" helter skelter some had predicited.
Any more good news and RF will have dumped the lot and the helter skelter ride will be over, with many passengers still asking if it has started yet. At that point the SP will rise significantly.

Whatever you say PUMA. (I disagree by the way). Perhaps you couldn't short. (I'll leave that there)
You have no idea who I am, or anyone else for that matter. You have no idea how much money we make (or not). You have no idea on what trades we make (short /long). You have no idea of our holdings, and you have no idea about SAR.
You were wrong on APTA. (Admit it). Own your losses. It will help you own your gains.
I give you credit though. You have me made laugh more than anyone has in the last 6 months.
Bravo!!!
Elcap
PUMa- you should have shorted APTA. You would have made some money. I was going to tell everyone to do that on the APTA bb but decided against it. If I short it that's my business, I don't need to convince others, the SP will fall (or not) I won't try and influence it one way or another. Perhaps I should have given you the heads up, you could have made some money instead of losing it.
But hey ho, you probably wouldn't have listened.
Elcap
MAJW - Maybe you will win in the shortterm and I will win in the longterm. Maybe you will win in the shortterm, switch to being a buyer and also win (like me) in the longterm.
I don't care whether you win twice, win once or not at all. I only care if I end up a winner.
Ultimately I think SAR will succeed. I'm in until the end one way or another.
Elcap
MAJW - Not much selling either. We must be on the horizontal slow paced death spiral, according to PUMA we were going on the scariest helterskelter death spiral. This ride's boring. PUMA can I have my money back this rides pants.
Again PUMA - You have stated a fact that the only way in down for the foreseeable. You also state that those who had taken your advice would now be better off. - Are you a finanical advisor? Are you qualified to give financial advice? Again I have no interest if you have a made £100, £1,000 or a £100k shorting this. And when you switch from short to long you may get it right. You may also get it wrong. I am happy to hold and top up whenever I feel it is right to do so.
The difference is I am not telling everyone else to do the same as me, I'm not telling them they are all wrong if they want to employ a different strategy. You are telling everyone that.
And that's the bit I find manipulative, arrogant, self serving and underhand. But hey, that's me, it takes all sorts. I think there are afair few others who think the same. (in fact probably the majority). And you say your son would know exactly what your moniker is as soon as he read your posts. And he would find it amusing. Nuff said. It speaks volumes.
