PUMA - Why don't you email them and ask them? Perhaps they could benefit from your unrivalled wisdom. As previously mentioned they almost always cash some in at this time of the year (irrelevant of the SP). I remember they did it previously and the SP rocketed (yes rocketed) no more than a couple of months later. They both consider it part of their salary. (as they had previously taken a paycut).
I for one have made upwards of 10x my investment and am currently sitting on a fairly nice holding which I have (ineffect) got for free. Of course I want the SP to be higher, and in time it will be.
Are you still convinced SAR are going under?

MAJ - Dr's Mitchell & Reader normally cash in some options to subsidise thier salaries. They have done this om many ocasions previously, and before you say they cashing in because they think the SP will fall, previously when they have cashed in some options the sharte price has risen dramatically shortly afterwards. They are not traders / money men, they are scientists.
I flit between thinking takeover could happen as early as Q1 2024 or end of Q4 2024.
It could drag on longer into 2025 but window for opportunity is 3 months from now to 14 months from now.
In the great scheme of things (bearing in mind I've been here 10yrs) that's not long at all.
I just hope I'm right.

November & December are always manic (workwise) for me that means I spend most of my time travelling and meetings but I really hope to make the AGM this year. Peel Hunt, Parker, lack of PR and lack of Corporate minded CEO are my gripes. I remain hugely positive on prospects for SAR but AGM's are there for Shareholders to hold Board to account and to ask the difficult questions in an effort to continually improve. It shouldn't be a "love in" unless things are going perfectly on all fronts.
They are in a bit of a "goal drought" results wise, they need to get at least one deal over the line, then the rest will probably follow in quick sucession.
However the biggest thing for me is the SAR business model that keeps getting repeated by the Board is to deal at the pre-clinical or early clinical stage. Looking at 737, 1801 & 1802 we are at or even beyond those stages. The Board run the risk of missing their own targets. WHY?
It is a simple question. No more excuses. Get it done.
As I say, whilst I remain hugely positive on SAR, these questions need to be asked, and more importantly answered and acted upon. No more lame responses, if the science is good and the big boys are looking for deals there has to be a reason why SAR can't get a deal. If it's not the product and it's not the lack ofdesire from the Big Boys to deal then it has to be something SAR aren't doing or something they are lacking.

I know I know. It's not vital as I am sure when the time comes the deal should be the same value irrespective of whether or not 1801 & 1802 have been promoted or not.But I would be much happier if there was some PR done and we were currently sitting at £1.80 or £2.80 instead of £0.80. If only for my piece of mind. Currently I think we are under valued. It wold be nice to be sitting in the appropriately valued area. It would make me feel happier.
I absolutely get the argument of What's the point of shouting if you've got nothing to shout about. However I much prefer the strategy of shouting about what is about to be released. Then shouting more as we hit each milestone. A skilled PR machine can keep interest building until the product is released / sold / licensed / available etc. I would argue that the company have a resonsibility in this day and age to provide the best PR it can.
Yes the science will speak for itself, but only to a point. Blockbuster films are promoted endlessly, why? Maybe the Film companies should not bother promoting it, just let it spread by word of mouth.
Rant over.
Have a great weekend all. I'm off to spain for a few days R&R.

Well I've dipped my toe in with a purchase of 695,694 shares this morning. I think this is the bottom. If it drops further will buy more but I'm hoping I've called this right. (Mind you) if it rises I'll be buying more as well so let's see how the next month or so pans out.

This time last year the SP was at £2 and we were waiting on MHRA's authorisation so that we could begin P1 on 1801.
A lot has happened in the last 12 months. Downside was MHRA (due to their own incompency) did not authorise 1801 ofr trials and SP was decimated. However the aussies came up trumps and not only did we get permission to start trials there but recruitment was done in double quick time and we are trials are already well under way. Riverfort were used to fund trials, this spooked the markets as RF are often seen as payday lenders, however it would appear they have behaved themselves and have recouped what is owed in a responsible manner.
So in short there are 2 perceived negatives: the first being UK MRHA's refusal to authorise 1801 for trials and secondly, the use of Riverfort for funds. The 2 perceived positives are that Aussies have been brilliant iro authorisation and trials and we are probably much further forward than if we had had permission granted in UK, and, RF have acted responsibly in cashing in their shares and as a result SAR are in a much stronger and heathier position.
Now weighing up the positives Iwould argue that carrying out the trials in Aussie land was probably the best option anyway, it's a shame we didn't bypass UK in the first place, and, using RF funding mechanism was also the right way thing to do. The SP being where it is is down to market sentiment and perception. If we had said we have decided to go to AUS for trials as they are better equipped and are more efficient and proactive, and that RF have approached us to be our trusted partner, the link up with RF will give us the stability and funds required to get us through trials which will enable us to get top dollar price when we put 1801 & 1802 on the shop shelf I would imagine the SP would be far higher than today's price.
I know it didn't quite play out that way but it does highlight that perception has a massive bearing on the SP. Both scenarios above have exactly the same facts. UK says no, we go to AUS and then we get RF funding. However 1 version leaves SP at 80p but other would probably have SP at £2.80. Shows you what good PR could do.
Either way, ultimately there has been a lot happening in the past 12 months and SAR are much further forward. Probably further than we would have thought we would be 12 months ago.
On that basis I think we are massively undervalued and on that basis I will keep topping up when I get the opportunity.

Well I'll be topping up come payday (Monday). If everyone can hold off from closing their shorts until Monday afternoon that would bre greatly appreciated. In fact I would really appreciate it if Numpty & Humpty would increase their shorts tomorrow.

Another little top up for me (mine was the 1st trade of the day).
RF shares will be done soon. Good news could drop anytime. Every day that goes by with no news is equally positive as we are a day further into the trials.
COME ON SAR!!!!!
