Cobalt - I have my shares in ISA with II.

I've got 239,566 shares so want to purchase the final 10,434 to being me up to a nice round 250,000. I'm holding off until MM's finish their games.

I don't factor the share money into any of my financial strategy around when I can retire etc. I'm 53 so ideally I want to retire no later than 57. Wife 5 yrs younger than me so she'll have to work for 5 yrs more than me before she can get her pension. Any upside on these shares mean I can pay off mortgage quicker and my wife can join me in retirement earlier.

I appreciate the RNS (unless early) will be October. If I was handling their PR I would be moving heaven and earth to find a way to issue some sort of positive RNS (even if only containing massive generalisations) very very quickkly after the last positive RNS issued last week. My aim would always to try and issue more than one positive RNS at a time. A couple of positive RNS (or even a flurry of them) in quick succession builds and maintains momentum. It doesn't really matter what the 2nd / 3rd RNS state as long as they are positive. Only one of the 2 or 3 issued in quick succession needs any meat on the bones.

I fully accept that some would say my suggested strategy is pointless, and if this tactic is used continually with no tangible results at the end then it is ultimately counter productive. However SAR have spent years saying little or nothing, even when they had something positive to say they would under play their hand. Therefore adopting my suggestion would have an even greater positive impact.

I need to purchase another 10,434 to bring my holding to nice round number. Now I just need to wait for the optimal time to jump in and purchase them.

I would like a general RNS stating what stage we are at and no issues encountered. That would be enough and more than worth the cost of an RNS

For transparency I should also add I had another little top up (I know, I know, I have given myself a stern talking to) at 10:51 this morning.

All very quiet ATM. Hopefully Dr Parker has some more good news to release in the next week that will build on the recent momentum. If frequency of RNS' can increase then I think we are then at the races. Hopefully last weeks RNS is only the start. I'm definitely feeling Dr Parker will also want to keep momentum going. He is starting to get things in place, so credit where credit is due. Come on Dr P. Let's keep this ship moving forward.

The video felt very much like GH was very carefully montoring what GR was saying. GH in effect was saying: I don't want ot focus on the 2nd plant. I want to get 1st plant up and running into full production before i even think about the 2nd plant.

Based on what GH was saying I feel more confident. Maybe it's a me problem but I just cannot believe a word that comes out of GR's mouth.

I reckon the day after he leaves for good the SP will jump 20%. If I was GH the very 1st thing I would do when in charge (before even getting myself a morning coffee) and having my mornign constitutional would be to release an RNS titled George is gone.

I've just tried to but £2k's worth and it was fine. When everyone says NT NT NT to buy. That horse manure.

I agree with everything you have said.

Especially: "if people are posting rocket emojis, lying about their trades, trying to cross pump (trying to get you to buy another stock) to create urgency etc then red flags should be going off in your head. What they are doing is trying to get you to tailgate them".

I would point out that none of those things have happened on this BB today. I'm sure it will when all the wombles jump on board but until they do this is a very balanced BB with some very LTH who have been through the ups and downs and now hopefully ups again.

On the face of it RNS is really good news. But (and it is a BIG but) you have to remember that: This is no ordinary RNS, this is a George Roach RNS and they, unfortunately are not worth the paper they are written on. Old George speaks with forked tongue. If he told me it was Wednesday I wouldn't take his word for it. The sooner he has exited the business the better. I have dipped my toe in the water with a smallish buy, I love what the RNS says, I just don't trust the one saying it. Had it been anyone else saying it. Perhaps someone who just happened to be in the general vicinity of the facility but with no knowledge of it at all had commented on how good everything had gone, rather than George then I would have perhaps waded in right up to my undercrackers. However as it's George I just dipped my toe for now.

Ripley - It's been decreasing for yrs so an increase for a week is nothing to get concerned about. I for one am in for the haul. IMHO SAR is massively undervalued. You be as careful as you think you should be. I will do the same. Hence I am going long. There is a long and hopefully steep road the SP has to climb to get back to where I think it should be. How quickly we move along that road is the question, we seem to have picked up pace in the last week. Destination hasn't changed, just the speed at which we are approaching it has. I've been holding SAR shares for well over a decade. I think my decision to hold on to my shares (and top up when I can) is the winning strategy. It's what will hopefully enable me to pay my mortgage off early and retire VERY early. Tell you what: I'll do me, and You do you.

Current market cap is £31M. I would argue that each strand of our portfolio is worth multiples of that. If the next 2 or 3 RNS' are positive then I see a realistic valuation for buyout being £1B+. That's a minimum of 32x current SP of .23p. That equates to a share price of £7 as a minimum.

If everything comes off (and that's a big if). SHIL platofrm / BBB / 737 / 1801 / 1802 we could see Thoth's £14 per share.

It makes the next few months the most critical few months in SAR's lifetime. If latest testing on 1801 comes back with positive results we will be playing for all the marbles.

That said trying to temper my own enthusiam, £2 a share gets my mortgage paid. £3 a share and I go down to 4 day week. £4+ per share and I retire. I've just turned 53. I would prefer SAR to be brought out in one fell swoop rather than indivudal deals, it would take the agony of when to sell incremental blocks of shares out of my control.

(P.s. It must be said that SP seems to have made a huge difference since he stepped into CEO role, and TM is also now doing what he is good at. Square pegs in Square holes. Who knew)

All seems unsually quiet, especially after the last couple of days. Is this the calm beofre the storm?

In recent times I have noticed that it usually takes 24 - 48hrs for the SP to react to positive news. I am expecting a SP rise tomorrow.

Murdo - there are 3 parties involved in any transaction. Buyer, seller & Market makers. MM's carry a float of shares so they can take shares off people to build a float without buyers to buy those shares. They can take orders for shares then seek sellers so they can satisfy large buy order. They can take a large sell order without already having a buyer for those shares. They can reprt any large trades either buys or sells up to 48hrs after the trade has been made. Therefore there is not necessarily a buyer for every seller and vice versa. It is a game of smoke and mirrors. MM's aim to buy from sellers at a low price then sell to the buyers for a higher price (and vice versa). MM's can sell shares to buyers they don't have and they can buy shares from sellers without already having a buyer for those shares. Everyone buys from or sells to the market Markets. The MM's look to keep the market orderly whilst also trying to make a profit on every share bought from them or sold to them. I hope this helps.

PCS - keep going. Too many of us on this BB have suffered with various illnesses and health issues over the years. Yes I invested in SAR over a decade ago to hopefully make some profit but I specifically chose SAR as I wanted to add my not insignificant physical weight and very small amount of money to the cause to hopefully help positive change.
