Yes I am aware that a few unfortunate fit and healthy souls have succumbed to the virus and I have indeed factored that into my calculations. Fortunately an overwhelming majority recover or don't even show symptoms. The Russian roulette barrel you speak of has a million chambers and a couple of bullets. Many people will be getting boosted today who already have 70%+ antibodies either through natural immunity or previous vaccines that just seem to work better in some and not others. However, rather than buy a ncyt rapid antibody test for a few quid and double check first and employ some kind of orderly fashion to the process Boris just releases the gates and voila, chaos. More money down the swanny.

Byp, you say you're pro testing but then are quite happy for the vaxxed to go about their business untested. Covid passes are dangerous and fuel spread and hospitalisations. Test everyone.

I am not against vaccines. I believe they do save lives. I had my reservations in the summer but you can see that the death rate has kept low to now. They do save lives but there are millions of people out there that don't need them. I am not against anyone having them if they choose. I am not anti Vax I am pro choice. I believe I don't need it and that there are many others that should have it in my place. I am also sceptical of the long term effects of it. I weighed the risks and benefits and arrived at 'i don't want it' my choice. My problem is with people like you saying to me, it's my fault that people are dying in hospital, it's my fault that the virus is spreading. I should get kicked to the curb if I got my risk/reward calculation wrong. It's bs. With things such as covid passes in play then it will be the vaxxed that are spreading it more than anyone. Not all vaxxed by the way just the ones that don't particularly care.

The market is so fixed on wanting to believe that Covid isn't a problem. The market has almost buried its head in the sand. Here we are, approaching winter, facing millions of cases over the next few months just in UK and yet we're down.

Scientists advising we'll be testing for multiple years. EU wave, US next, then South America. Then it'll be back to us. Yet the market can't see it.

£100m+ revenue. £40m+ EBITDA. Global business. Not confined to one market. Industry booming and have £100m in the bank. Yet market can't see it.

I'm long but have some short term trades and just get frustrated from time to time that market is so disjointed from logic.

They won't be yet dribbles. We are still in Autumn and pre Christmas. Omicron reduces 2 jabs to near nothing. Most of UK is 2 jabs or less. Hopefully they won't still think they are invincible and unable to spread the virus. The booster will take a couple of weeks to get up to 70%. Hospitalisations are just starting to feed through. Whilst ever it is allowed to spread, cases, hospitalisations and deaths will unfortunately increase. With Omicron it will increase at a much quicker rate. Test everyone not just the unvaxxed. Stop the spread. No more special privileges for the vaxxed.

Most of those in hospital are elderly and vulnerable. Vaccinate those. I don't actually have a problem with people getting vaccinated if they choose. I would also put up a stronger argument for encouraging all elderly and vulnerable to be vaccinated. Notice I say encourage and not coerce.

The problem I have is with the likes of you thinking you can swan about untested wherever you want mixing with negatively tested unvaccinated people spreading the virus and potentially putting people in hospital and then pointing at people like me and saying it's your own fault. Test everyone. Byp, you can catch it and spread it. Wake up.

Byp, that's exactly why everyone should test because there are many people running around freely with Covid. It might come as an insult to you but most of them are jabbed.

ValJu, the NHS survived when we had 70m unvaccinated people in the UK. If the problem is the unvaxxed then there are only 5m left so if the NHS struggles this winter it's because it's under resourced and that the silver bullet vaccine that byp believes he has running through his veins just isn't as silver as some will have you believe.

Some of you here seem to have lost all sight of humanity. The NHS is under resourced so your solution is to kick out anyone who doesn't deserve to be here. You should be pointing the finger at the government for not increasing the capacity.

Brent, agreed. However, you appear to believe that the only people of risk to you are the unvaxxed. If that is so then delusion springs to mind. 2 jabs is not enough. It wasn't with Delta and now even more so with Omicron. You must be anti covid pass then as these are the most dangerous of restrictions and will be coming in on Wednesday.

I'll tell you how it works. I don't care if you have a jab, or 2 or 3 or 10. It doesn't stop you from catching and spreading the virus. Test, test, test everyone. Invest in better faster testing. Ncyt's 10 min PCR test for example. The best of the best LFT's not cheap Chinese tosh. Test everyone everywhere and please get saliva tests sorted out. Nasal and throat is too invasive. Keep working on a vaccine and once it is proven and properly works like a vaccine should, then more will take it. Keep working on treatments and invest more into the NHS. Stop needlessly pumping shots into everyone in UK and share them out across the globe. If we stop the spread we restrict the mutations, if we limit it to Omicron then we will develop ways to deal with Omicron and eventually win.

Mmm. Not everyone is getting jabbed boss. Ok we'll find ways to coerce them. Ok boss. I'll send out a message that says the vaccine is a silver bullet so people believe they are invincible. That will make people have it. Err boss, there's still tens of millions not having it. Try harder then old boy. Ok boss, I'll give all the ones that get jabbed luxeries like no testing for travel, no isolating. Lady in the corner says "but won't that just aide the spread". Be quiet, this is about making people get jabbed, bodies can pile high, I just want every single person to get jabbed" and I will find a way to make it happen.

Before you know it you have a culture of vaxxed people carrying the virus undetected into planes, workplaces, nightclubs, cinemas. All fuelling the spread whilst pointing the finger at the unvaxxed for causing an already depleted and under resourced NHS system to overrun.

End result = a free flowing mutating virus in a divided country with a still very much under resourced and over worked NHS system. Meanwhile, the top officials are lining their pockets with dodgy contracts and our tax money.

Sounds like a great place to be.

That's a different view HarChris and to be fair a much more logical one. Not sure how you would implement it. It sounds a little like the Greek approach of a £100 fine if not vaccinated.

Exclusion from society is also many steps too far for me. How about making society safe. Invest in the rapid PCR testing infrastructure. Test everyone on entry into the nightclub. More testing. If the virus is identified and isolated it has no where to go. The more we keep giving the vaxxed this luxury of going wherever you want without a test and then allowing said people to mix with others then how are we ever going to stop the spread and the mutations. The vaccine is great to save the vulnerable and handful of others but it doesn't stop you from becoming infectious. I just don't get the logic.
