Androcles B, not sure if we really need new Artificial Stupidity programmes, seems like nature has already aced it :-) However, spent an hour this weekend listening to this fantastic recent AI generated sketch, from the 14 year dead US comedy genius George Carlin.
Warning - it's 50% bad language for those of gentle demeanour !!! :-)

A good day for Europa & if this 2 year extension has been awarded in good faith, for the island of Ireland, an all island gas network, relying on locally sourced gas and/or GB imports.
Also, as has been mentioned many times in the past, the shipping over & back of a rig from Scotland to the Corrib area, was quoted as about 50-70% (?) of any drill's costs.
I repeat the idea that a shared & partnered triple licence drill of Corrib Deep, Inishkea West & Corrib South is the most economical way forward for all , by hugely reducing drill costs per licence, risk of failure & the best way too to protect Vermilions near $4 billion sunk infrastructure costs. Thanks Jules8, for confirming these large changes adjacent to the MOU-3 site. Re-measuring in day-time, using the site "measure" function (not cardboard today :-), its about 300 m X 100 m right next to the 100m X 100m well site. Somewhat reminds me of the rectangular shape on page 8 of the Sept 22 presentation. Looks like we are finally getting ahead of the puck, a la Wayne Gretzky !!! GLA

Copernicus site behaving a bit strangely tonight, cloud cover @ 56% over MOU-3, but if you look there from 100m scale using True Colour plus several others screens (though not False Colour ?), there seems to be earth movement, watering or slurry spreading over an 800 m 2 area directly north & east of the existing site. Nothing new visible at MOU-1. Would welcome confirmation from others.
PS - I didn't make a cone out of the cardboard, I simply drew on it :-) 2D - DONALB
Thanks Jimmy for your great insights here.
My own amateur contributions are that I note on page 14: "Upon approval of Amendment #4, the initial exploration period will be 49 months and a mandatory relinquishment of 40.8333% of the original exploration permit area will be made at the end of the Initial Exploration Period". Has this changed from the previously mentioned 25% or was always programmed ?
And as you have noted from page 51: "An initial 20MMScf/d is expected to be delivered by CNG trailer to the end of the existing SDX gas pipeline in the Rharb Basin that serves the city of Kenitra". The end of this SDX pipeline appears near to Moulay Bouchta, an easy 4 hr drive from Guercif, thus allowing up to 3 deliveries per 24 hrs, with the right trucks, trailers & crew.
"Need the even bigger boy truck from the Predator presentation on 18 May !!! Unique system capacity of up to 645,014 SCF. So, 20m/0.645/3 = 11-12 biggest & busy boy trucks for 20mmcfgpd. GLA, DAB"

Another Sunday school day :-) After 30 mins of online calculator confusion, no success . So resorted to recycled cardboard & pen & ruler. With this very flat cone, a height of 1500m & a radius of 6300m gives our 126km2 area. Extending the cone slope to a 1700m depth gives a approx. 7400m radius & our new 176km2 area. Used calculator below to confirm numbers. GLA, DAB

An FYI on Irish gas field licences. Europa's Inishkea licence will expire before the end of January, though they have applied for another extension based on an ongoing 3rd seismic re-processing, focusing on the Inishkea West prospect ! Apparently, the licence is not lost or extended until Einstein Ryan says so, Caesar like with his thumb !!! Maybe he will permit both under political & electoral & UK pressure & we can all team up with for the drills with Vermillion.
Hi BRV, very good points & might having a GSA with Afriquia Gaz & its fleet of 1,300 vehicles, have contributed to lower cash outlays & improved IRR :-) From the RNS, "the long lead time for the purchase or leasing of CNG trailers and gas compressors"!!! No mention of a need for trucks. Another good day, GLA, DAB

Predator RNS - IRELAND
The Company has received since its last operations update a communication from the Geo Science Regulation Office ("GSRO") at the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications informing the Company that consideration of its application for a successor authorisation to Licensing Option 16/26 Corrib South is hoped to be concluded during Q1 2024 and that the GSRO would be writing to the Company shortly in relation to this matter.
Maybe, they can make decisions on Corrib, Inishkea & Barryroe in the same Quarter !!! GLA

German Tax Implications - possibly !!!
My French "ISA/SIPP style" investment plan, lets me trade my German "Mercedes" shares with no German capital gains tax implications (only French taxes on gains on future withdrawals). "However" my 8% dividend is subject to German withholding taxes at a 25% rate, than currently cannot be legally refunded ( EU court cases pending regarding single market).
If I held these shares in my ordinary French share account, I could apply to Germany each year to get this 25% withholding tax reimbursed, but honestly, what small shareholder could be arrssed !!! Selling up my Merc before next divi. Suspect but not sure if similar for UK, especially post Brexit. GLA, DB
Well spotted Nick, it appears to be earth works moving more olive trees & showing from at least the 13th Jan. I know if I was flaring & testing a high pressure well, I would want to keep my equipment & personnel as far from the flame pits as possible. Not seeing equivalent at MOU-1 yet, though its much more remote & spacious. See old MOU-3 google map from April.

Good find LS8:
Morocco - PM's Akwa Group set to become key player in Moroccan gas. The group owned by Morocco's ultra-rich Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch has launched Saha Gaz, a firm that aims to import and export liquefied petroleum gas and to manage the distribution of liquefied natural gas. Very interesting FabPhil & good to potentially see Predator booking a 2 star dry hotel as opposed to the wet & twice priced Chark Hotel for 10 days :-) Did I read the Lonny's wife was involved in certain catering services, they would be remis to not expand into Hotel services too, if their confidence in the Guercif licence potential is sky-high :-)
And still an opportunity for me to open my Irish Pub, once my successful bird watching/surveillance has spotted an enormous flaming phoenix :-) GLA, DAB
