Only the free to view section here, same as RNS. Q. Anyone got access & can post more ?
• Predator Oil &Gas published an RNS on 20/02/2024, on the results of the Phase 1 rigless testing programme in Morocco. • Four zones were tested in MOU-1 and MOU-3 using 1 11/16” perforating guns to achieve 12” perforations through an interpreted 8” deep zone of formation damage caused by the heavy drilling muds used at the time of drilling. • These smaller guns were the only option available for testing before the end of the licence extension on February 5th. • However, the guns failed to penet...
Jimmy, my very amateur reply may help a little:
MOU-1 : "Wireline logs will require detailed interpretation to take into account borehole conditions caused by borehole enlargement where washouts have occurred in the open-hole section."
https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/PRD/mou-1-update-24h4jsyz9fxq27q.html
MOU-1 : "A further study is being commissioned to optimise the size of perforating guns required, taking into consideration borehole conditions and the increase in mud weight that was required to drill through a significantly over-pressured section".
https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/PRD/investor-presentation-and-operational-update-wn88vrmsy6lgdbd.html
MOU-3 : "2. TGB-4 sands : Several thin sands of up to one metre in thickness were encountered in TGB-4 from 1046 to 1070 metres TVD MD. Borehole geometry was poor and further detailed petrophysical analysis will be required to determine reservoir quality. At least one of these sands may be a candidate for rigless testing".

I didn't post this during the week, to much Guercif going on, but here is another Predator problem / opportunity !!! Einstein Ryan has the ESB converting this 900MW Coal plant to Heavy Fuel Oil, (slightly less polluting) to "green wash" extending its life till 2029, when the site will "then" be closed & converted to windfarm use. "Allegedly" it would take too long to convert to gas & cost €150 M to build the necessary gas pipeline extension.
If only Ryan had the foresight to advance the gas licences around Corrib and/or if Mag Mell LNG gas deliveries had been taken up, maybe this wasteful, imported & still very polluting choice could have been avoided.

"Cory Moruga planning work is being progressed in Trinidad this week to put in place a small operations teams to implement the proposed workover operations after planning is complete and environmental approvals have been received".
Good article Rosso & may keep some of the Spanish energy giants in the mix in Morocco.
As for wind paying for things, right now France has the highest electricity generation by wind ever recorded at near 19GW or the equivalent of 19 nuclear power plants & Spain must be similar. France is also importing 2.4 GW from Spain, whilst exporting 18GW north & east. That's huge revenue & the lowest CO2 footprint available..

Zebra, you being a long term & significant shareholder, you might do better re-reading the RNS's before posting such unfounded accusations.
The Phase 1 testing obviously started as RNS'ed, followed by on-site preparation, CTU testing, depth tests, safety tests, etc, but was then delayed due to weather conditions & consequent delays in explosive deliveries. I expect they do not deliver explosives to remote sites in Morocco unless all lights are green. The actual explosive perforation & flow testing could only happen once the explosive deliveries were made.
Operations summary
Phase 1 rigless testing operations commenced on 10 February 2024 after arrival at the well
site of the explosives required for the perforating guns and allowing for adverse weather
conditions caused by severe gusts of wind that prevented crane work to ameliorate.
All four zones in MOU-1 and MOU-3 to be tested were perforated and operations were completed on 19 February 2024 with the crews and equipment being demobilised. Operations took 10 days versus the pre-testing forecast of up to 14 days.
Silverfoil, forget about Hiroc, check out FDE (Francaise de Energy), part of a large methane pyrolysis consortium, but much more importantly have the licence over the recently discovered largest known natural hydrogen source, estimated between 50-250 Million Tonnes !!!!Plus, huge licence for coal bed methane & abandoned mine methane recovery in the Alsace Lorraine region, along with bio-methane sites in N Ireland, Norway, etc, etc.
Profitable, very low cost eco financing & growing 40-60% per year.

Plus ROI, used ~ 50% fossil fuel to create electricity over the last 30 days, no to mention all the coal, gas, wood & turf used for more direct heating, etc. Einstein Ryan needs to move !!!

A Christmas Tree and/or BOP has been present at MOU-1 since drill !!! Gauges there ay explain the lack of movement on site. See centre of pad.

Thanks Keith, my cheeky observation might just have some legs. Looking at it again in "true colour" at MOU-3 from the 12th on a 50m scale, its appears as a very white wetness ??? Now, that reminded me of a video, I saw before !!! See "Watch SJP Test".

Great find Keith, this appeared between the Jan 25 & Jan 28 satellite passes, the same as window as the ground work done around MOU-3 (use 100% cloud for extra days). I measure it using the rule function exactly 2.6 km centre to centre with MOU-4.
Cheeky thought Keith, as MOU-3 has "possible" water run-off showing as blues on the "moisture band", but there does not appear to be a lot of new moisture shows in the surrounding area's, is there any chance it's the water run-off from the sand-jet :-)
Mainly good weather for the next 15 days too !

My thoughts are that Ryan may be part can kicking, to avoid being sued under the ECT &/or is being pushed by reality of low carbon native gas & its programmed use beyond 2050. Maybe too, Nephin's/Canadian Pension Fund's (43% shareholders Corrib field) new bio-gas investments that have moved the permitting forward, hopefully for a triple Corrib, Inishkea West & Corrib South partnering.
