Cant help but think, this "energy crisis" is being blown out of all proportions, by war mongers & o&g speculators, like ourselves :-)

Which of us could not do just fine with a Hormuz closed, 20% less oil & gas availability or 12% of our global energy needs ???

I know my answer, I have cut my energy/carbon footprint by ~80% since covid boredom took over & live just fine & better than ~95% of humanity.

I had a good look, me thinks you are seeing differences primarily due to the big rains 5 to 10 days ago, so all the basins will be water full & pad is damp.

Zoom well out & have a look using 100% cloud cover setting & Moisture Index setting for the last month, loads of blue for rain, clouds, water.

Also it seems the 3 satellites are changing sequence & possibly pass angles in February, from our original every 2nd & 5th day, plus an extra new 3rd sat pass every 10 days pass. But last week, we went for our 2,3,2,3 to 2,2,2 to 2,3 again, so that to may impact image angles, time of pass, sunlight & shadow effects, etc. I only trust the dry times images.

Only $12M is being invested, plus costs, towards a 20 % + 10 % share of the 2 blocks, with ~8000 bpd output & the rest is for general purposes, as is the extra 4$ M raise. No idea of where all the potential warrant money of $37.7 M (maximum) would be used. Chariot Ltd (AIM:CHAR, OTC:OIGLF) CEO Adonis Pouroulis talked with Proactive's Stepyen Gunnion about the company’s acquisition funding agreement to gain exposure to producing oil assets offshore Angola, marking what he described as a “transformative deal” for the business.

Chariot has announced plans to provide $12 million in funding, alongside transaction costs, to support Etu Energias in acquiring a 20% interest in Block 14 and a 10% interest in Block 14K offshore Angola. In return, Chariot will secure exposure to the economics of production equivalent to up to 4,000 barrels of oil per day, with funding to be repaid from future cash flows.

Pouroulis highlighted the strategic importance of the transaction, stating: “This is indeed a transformative deal. It is the seed of a company maker with this transaction. It transforms our narrative.” He added that the move delivers on the company’s stated objective of bringing oil production into its upstream portfolio.

The deal is supported by Shell Trading, which is providing an acquisition financing package of up to $170 million in exchange for future offtake. The assets are located in a prolific oil-producing region and have produced nearly one billion barrels to date, with Block 14 recently extended to 2038.

Adonis emphasised that Chariot remains committed to its Moroccan and Namibian assets while continuing plans to separate its renewable energy business. The company also confirmed an open offer for existing shareholders on the same terms as the placing.
