Salut Timetoretire, yes, very much agreed, The Bald Faced & Co-Conspirators are not only 850 m underwater & 40 km offshore, they could be much better off investing in their own agricultural fertilizer business, instead of their mostly fake prognostications, against the technically far superior Predator Guercif prospects.
Good Luck to all true LTH's , Donal B
High to Low - 18 % down during the last month !
High to Low - 51 % down this last year !
High to Low - 69 % down these 2 years !
High to Low - 96 % down from all time highs !
Zero flow tests ever, ever, ever in Morocco ! And big wells as underwater as its share price.
Some example for the Bald Faced & Co-Conspirators to follow or try boast to about.
Beetroot, a few small points.
You must have a very expensive broker, if they are charging you 1.5% on currency conversions. Typically, I have paid 0.4 to 1.0 % for smallish sums over the years. Its also a much better idea to keep a € sub-account & probably a $ sub-account, if you trade often, if your broker allows that.
As for capital gains, that would only be a UK issue (if you are UK resident), however if we do have future dividends (chance would be a fine thing:-), our German cousins would take a 25% dividend withholding tax, that can be claimed back, but may not be worth the bother for most of us.
Hope that helps, GLA, DAB
Maybe some Vermillion pushback on huge windfall taxes & lack of licence progress will focus minds. Vermillion could even stop production for a year or two to avoid the worst taxes.

Most notable & hopefully has follow thru for TUI - "Fuel CASK (cost per ASK), including the cost of carbon and fuel hedging, is expected to be 23-24 per cent lower vs. last year".

A little FYI, a large Irish Green Party conference, ahead of upcoming local & European elections was held in Dublin at the weekend. I expect any O & G license updates could only be released afterwards :-)

Acott, this was last updated on 27 Jan 2024, for the 31 Dec 2023 licences. So maybe a week or two till the next update, but with Einstein Ryan ???

Thank you Rosso for keeping us all up to date on the local going on's. One thing I don't yet understand & it has been mentioned many times here lately, is the investments in the new Nador regasification plant.
Are regasification plants not simply designed to re-gas imported LNG before adding to the network?
Would not a much more complex liquefaction plant be needed if Morocco planned to export gas from Nador?
Happy to learn from anyone with expertise. GLA, DAB
Extension of the potential100 m2 MOU-5 site (from 2024/3/3) visible now since 2024/4/9 ?
Opinions welcome. GLA, DAB

ONHYM has the following equipment
A drilling rig that can drill shallow wells up to 1800 m (IDECO H525)
A drilling rig that can drill deeper wells up to 4800 m (IDECO H1700)
A mobile camp common to both drilling rigs
An HP cementing and pumping unit

Q. Where is the Star Valley 101 drilling rig ?
A. The Star Valley Rig 101 is currently operating in Morocco as part of a contract extension signed by Predator Oil & Gas Holdings Plc. This modern rig is equipped with integrated top drives and is well-suited for drilling applications. It’s fascinating to think that this rig, which stands tall in the Moroccan landscape, could be compared to approximately 46,449 bananas stacked end to end! 🍌🍌🍌
Not so sure about the banana comparison :-)

Good to see the travel/tourism industry growing so strongly, especially TUI's new airline partner Wizz !!!
On a rolling 12-month basis, Wizz Air said it carried 62.0 million passengers, up 21% from 51.1 million the year before. The load factor improved to 90.1% from 87.8%.
In the 12 months to March, Ryanair said it carried 183.7 million passengers, up 7% from 168.6 million year-on-year. The load factor at 94% was up one percentage point from 93%.

Here is a new French language article from Amina Benkhadra, the Director of ONHYM. Huge future planned use of nat gas, due to lower CO2 & a necessary compliment to renewable energies. Very little mention of Guercif, mainly of Anchois, Chariot, Sound & SDX. Only a somewhat incorrect passage, as translated below. I imagine that until the gas is a fully proven resource, it will not be incorporated in longer term infrastructure & energy plans.
"Finally, several other sedimentary basins are known for their gas potential revealed by old drilling and showings, these are essentially the Guercif Zag, Boudenib, Missour, Doukkala, Tadla basins, and which are all in the exploration and evaluation phase by Onhym's own resources".

RideDalce, good post & as the video shows there are simple solutions. Why not make mandatory district heating solutions from the data centre planning stage being incorporated with permissions & grid connections. And I like that : "Energy can neither be created nor destroyed; rather, it can only be transformed or transferred from one form to another" & I add, hopefully stored in abundant gaseous quantities underground in Morocco & Corrib :-)
Too too funny, "Howarda Hanging", your time would be much better spent improving your proficiency in English or at least before you troll post, running your text through error correction software. That way, you might have a grain of credibility regarding your worries for our near bionic Paul's health !!! 4 Troll posts out of 4. Bin, Bin, Bin !!! GLA, DONALB, a engineer :-)
GH55, this site has lots of first hand info, but you may need to google translate a lot.

FYI - Xetera Bourse is closed tomorrow & Monday, so expect Easter updates in 1-2 weeks.
FYI 2 - Only TUI news today, is they are ending 4 TUI planes engaged in night time letter postal deliveries for Deutsche Poste. CO2 wasteful & probably not very profitable.
Q. Anybody any updates on how our shorters are faring ?
