I thought we were told 3 months from October? That's what the market has priced in right now. So if January comes and goes with no LP, this will likely fall.

Trials aren't just knocked up in a few days. So they could easily wait until one was confirmed before hiring what is, as you say, not a senior position and probably a fairly easy person to find. To me, they are not in a position to be hiring people "just in case". But we'll see. They did it pre SPRINTER. But to do it twice...that would be unforgivable.

Also, if what you say is correct ("The company has to hire clinical assistants if they are looking to get on a trial. They have to have the foundations in place to apply for trials") then why not hire this person months back?

MrCosts - I'll be the first person at the next AGM to put my hand up and ask some hard questions if we're not on another trial. Including the considerably hefty salaries of many there. I do sometimes get confused as to what Phillip Monk must be doing as Chief Scientific Officer... the science, we believe, has been proven!
But I do think it's fair to give them the year. I think they are trying very hard to get on a free platform trial or JV and many things are out of their control.

At some point they'll surely have to make the decision to go it alone and try to raise cash as AB4 bleats on about. What's the alternative? Let the cash dwindle and go bust? However, I'd like to think that while a cash raise would be highly dilutive, it would hopefully get the SP moving back in the right direction and offset some of that. All guesswork right now but what else can we do but wait?
