Just to clarify, again, I don’t care about these charitable donations, gifts, goodwill, friends for 25 years, gestures… if we get the LP. And I don’t blame MATD for doing what is apparently necessary.

If MATD are so generous (with shareholders money, no less!) then why not be more charitable elsewhere? Why the place where they just happen to need a permit?!

Professional - if ever SNG comes good and we end up at Big Johnny’s for celebratory drinks, we can compare qualifications, permissions and authorisations with regards to trading. Mine are on a public register, so no place to hide or lie for me.

Ibiza - come down off that high horse. Firstly, I couldn’t give a damn if they are paying off (investing in!) the locals to get them on board. As long as the LP is granted, great.
But to say it’s nothing like bribery is patently not correct. Definition of bribery:

I think it’s fair to say that MATD investing in the locals is them trying to “influence” things.

The fact is, know one knows what will happen to Synairgen. It could all go belly up. But equally it might just land a trial and go to 50p+, and you’ll have stopped a potential investor making good money. So let’s not kid anyone. You’re just a troll!

As for MrCosts - don’t put yourself through another year of this. Honestly, write the investment off and just look in every few months. You might be surprised one day, maybe not. But you’ll have a much happier life.

No ****! Yes, we have Velociraptor which is hopefully something to fall back on. But we still don’t have the LP and I’ll not be counting my chickens until we do.

Ghia - for me a JV doesn’t work. I’d rather we just try to raise the cash and go it alone again.

Out of interest, what is your best guess as to what things will be looking like this time next year?

Mani - maybe. But what’s the hold up? I know the legals can take some time to thrash out. But time is of the essence. And if we do have a partner lined up, why are we spending money on flights to all the presentations, pitching SNG001?

AJ316 - I think Feb 21st has to be a fair date to hear some news. A year on, winter will be all but over, you’d have to think if they’re not on a trial or something else materially good is announced that it will be fundraise time.

Keen to hear what others think but we’ll have missed the winter rush and if we’ve not been put on a PT by then, when? Or what else would be the alternative(s) if we don’t do a cash raise and go it alone?

Legalwolf - you may well be right, but markets are typically forward looking and they will already be thinking about 2024.

gggg21 - any fundraise and subsequent issue of new shares would be offered out to existing shareholders first. So if Polygon took up their allocation, they wouldn’t be diluted.
But Polygon would surely be consulted first as they would need to be on board. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if they ended up instigating talks of it, offering to underwrite it… get the cash raised and get on with our own P3 trial again, not beholden to anyone or having to give up a huge slice of the pie.

Roger65 - I can’t disagree more about your hypothesis. If Molopo is bad, they would have to RNS as soon as they knew.

Batterymetals - very true. But I’m just trying to think what bad news they would delay announcing. If some assay results are no good they’d surely just RNS it?

Maybe it’s my annoying expectation management again. But I don’t expect any big news from this. But then I’ve been wrong all the way along. So would be great if I keep that up!

Is this not simply JPM inviting companies along to present to their own investors for their funds which might own stocks such as SNG?

I can’t believe it’s where CEO’s wander off into dark rooms and thrash out deals.
